How many articles do you submit at once?

I have been doing article marketing for some time now, having started in 2007, but I have always had one question, so I figured I would ask it.

How many articles do you post at one time?

If you have 30 articles is is better to post 1 a day for a month? Post 5-10 every Sunday? Assuming you are not using a scheduling program, which method is more effective?

Or is it strictly preference?

Will one way work better initially to grab more traffic up front? versus longer slower traffic trickling in?

Ok, so it is more then one question, but any insight would be helpful.

    Hey Obsidian,

How many do you have in stock?

Putting the joke aside, I'm saying something about my experience. The best position is that if you're starting then what matter is the continuity. In the beginning is advisable to submit articles everyday. If you have them in stock then this is easy. Make this activity for at least the first month.

To gaining most out of of your presence is better, if you have possibility to submit 2-3 a day with some at 4-5 hours interval. This way you are on front of them all the time, on the first page (if you submit your articles in one directory only).

Another solution is that you submit your articles into more directory. This way you also can multiply your presence and gain more backlinks, too.

What concers the days submitting your articles into directories the best way is to test them, because they are different in terms, approval time, etc. The essence is anyway the continuity, it is possible to relax later.

    Good luck,

    Sandor

If I have them available, I usually submit between 4 and 5 per day. I do as the poster stated above and spread it over 3 to 4 hours (that is great advice).

  • I agree with Hollierae this is what I do and it works well. I have also done more, but I find 4-5 a day works good

    Thank you all,

Presently I was shooting for 3-5 per day which I see is the consensus so far. No I don't have them in stock either. Wish I did.

I write one in the morning, post it. Then get on to the other things I need to do, work, programming, etc, then I will write another one, post. Repeat this every couple hours.

So it would appear I accidentally stumbled onto the exact pattern you mention.

I am also submitting to multiple directories. I hope to keep this up for the next 30 days or so for this product. I have a method of generating the articles which seems to work ok so far.
