CLICKBANK: Is This Even Possible?

I was wondering if it's possible to have a domain redirect to your affiliate link.

So if I register www, website, com and I drive traffic to that site. But instead of a landing page, it just redirects to the sales page with my affiliate link.

Is this possible? Is it allowed?

It is possible and it is allowed. You can have the website do a redirect or you can mask the site and have your domain remain in the browser when the visitor is on the sales page. Direct linking seems like it would work better but I would suggest learning how to properly position and presell an offer. That process converts better then direct linking.

It is possible and allowed. There are quite a few problems with using this method though. As your domain directly leads to a sales page, you can't expect others to link to you; you have to build all the traffic by yourself which is tiresome, boring, and friggin' nuts.

Secondly, you can't use good ole' adwords. Many folks feel they can just redirect their URL to an affiliate link, and build the traffic from Adwords, and make a fortune. The world and google is much smarter than that folks.

Your content will be outright rejected by most syndication outlets and content directories when they realize that the link you've posted is actually an affiliate link. You might find success with video marketing, but not sure about it though - never used it. :p

You won't be able to presell to your visitors in anyway. When the visitors will land on a sales page, some of them might throw a fit as if they entered the wrong building. It will take them by surprise, and might contribute to the ugly twisted and psychotic bounce rate.

Basically, you will have to sprinkle your link around the the web, and when I don't like the toppings, I just take them off my plate; most people will, perhaps, do the same.

I am bit confused by the question.

    Maybe give some more info.

    Is this possible?
Yes, why would it not be?

    Is it allowed?
It depends on what/whose products you are promoting.

To get an answer that helps you why not spend time to ask a detailed question!

Peter, with respect, what was "undetailed" or "confusing" about his question? He simply asked whether it's ok to redirect a domain-name to a ClickBank hoplink. What's ambiguous about that?

Sorry, but it just doesn't. This is incorrect.
