For WSO offer, must be a Member + Pay $20 to post?

Just want to clarify. Anyone else feel if you should be able to offer things at a discount on WF , you should only have to pay for one?

Was wondering if anyone else noticed. Maybe a 'forum member time' requirement should be made too. Why should offers be trusted by just 'any new joe' on the forum?

You need to be a member (naturally), and it costs $40, not $20. Yes, costly, but many Warriors make more than $40 from their WSO so while it's a cost, it's a worthwhile one.

    Hi

I think it's $40 for a WSO, $20 for an ad in other product/service forums.

The WSO forum is like any other market place - caveat emptor.

Scammers and fraudsters are dealt with by admins if they violate rules. WSO threads are open and you will find critical posts and discussion for bad products

The seller's profile shows their join date and number of forum posts if buyers are concerned about how long they have joined. But that has little relevance.

Just because someone is 'any new joe' in this forum does not mean they are not an experienced guru in their field. Many WSO sellers have been very successful without being a member of the WF and join when they are ready to market their knowledge to the IM crowd.

The 'one time' payment is your membership. After that you have to pay to post each WSO because each is a new ad/campaign for a new product. You wouldn't go to a newspaper and say "Once I pay for one ad with you, shouldn't all my others be free?"

$37 for War Room membership + $40 to post a WSO.

If "the ability to post a WSO" is the only value you expect to get from your $37 to join the War Room, then you're in for a very pleasant surprise! (But you're not looking at it in a very appropriate way, perhaps).

They're not, typically. Those WSO's rarely sell well.

Look, the Forum is partly in the business of selling advertising space (just like a few million other Webmasters). Sure, there are some basic rules to protect the Forum itself and (to some extent) its members, but why shouldn't someone who walks in tomorrow be allowed to pay to advertise on the site, if that's what they want to do?

Regardless of what you feel, things cost what they cost and whether you want to pay them is a business decision you get to make based on whether your product or service is worth $77 to promote.

This is an online marketplace just like eBay. Does eBay have anything that stops new people from selling? No, so why should this forum? eBay has a feedback system which allows customers to rate sellers after purchase and that's exactly the same way this forum works. If someone is selling crap they won't last very long here because customers have the opportunity to post their feedback directly into the WSO thread.

To gain trust for their products, WSO Vendors use other Warriors reviews. So, I don't think we need 'forum member time' restriction.
They give the review copies to some reputable Warriors. These reviews from reputable members will give 'weight' to the WSO, although the vendor is a new member or have a low number of post.

I have often seen a WSO, from a Vendor who has below 50 posts, got 100+ sales. If you could convince people that your WSO give results as claimed, the WSO will be successful, despite the post number of the vendor is low
