Same issues as Alertpay just new name now. However I did hear today they fixed banking issues and some CC so maybe they take mastercard and visa now but I have yet to test it to find out for sure.

was it a different company that took over AP? Or did they just change the name because they had so much bad press?

It looks pretty credible. I just saw it when I was transferring money from one of the systems I use.

I applied over a month ago for a business account, did their verification requirements, haven't heard back since.

Their site has many bugs and they won't verify my credit card 'due to maintenance.'

Same problem here. I just can't get my account verified due to their failure on credit card verification.

I guess AlertPay was giving so much problem so the best thing for a new company to do after they bought this company would be to change the name of the business

    yup

This was AlertPay at one time. I had an alertpay account and they notified me I now need to goto Payza or whatever. I never use either.

AlertPay's requirements were TOO MUCh for me. Their phone customer service is better than paypal however.

why are they still a force when they are hardly ever able to process credit cards? They must have something to offer? I want an alternative to offer clients but payza seems unreliable!

Hmmm, totally unrelated, but is it called PAYZA because its a spin on the indian currency 'Paisa' (coins)? Personally, I love paypal, though they too charge an annoying fee...

They are formerly known as alertpay. Yes, they are good, ive used them to accept lots of payments from flippa auctions. I would say they are better than paypal.

I have an account with Alertpay/Payza but I never really use it. I have used Paypal for years and they have been good to me there - so if it isn't broke why fix it.

I signed up with Alertpay before the name change, because I was looking for a payment processor company that was not difficult to work with without having a bank account.

But, now that the company is really acting screwy with their customers' accounts, I don't know what payment processor will be a better alternative to them and Paypal.

** The appeal for me with Alertpay, again, is that they issued checks from your balance.

Knowing that Payza is relatively new, it definitely will take some time for them to put things in right order. I believe the main thing they need is time to get fully back on course.

I don't mean to bump an old thread, but I just discovered this service two weeks ago and wanted to report on my experiences and since there is already a thread I figured just go with that.

I too had an AlertPay account and was quite unimpressed. Then about 2 weeks ago a subscriber contacted me and wanted to buy one of my products but lives in one of the countries PayPal doesn't allow. I want to say Nigeria but I'm not 100% sure...

He asked if I would consider getting a Payza account and so I did. I tried to sign up but was told my email address was already in the system so evidently my AlertPay account had been automatically switched over for me. I put in a password request, retrieved my password and sure enough my Payza account was pretty much already set up.

I went on to verify a bank account and add a credit account to verify my account (this process is very similar to PayPal - they make two small deposits and you verify them). Same thing with the credit card - they charge you $1 to make sure it's a real card and then they give the $1 back by adding it onto your Payza balance.

Creating payment buttons so you can accept payments through sales pages and websites is a little more complicated as they have to verify the domain. They basically want to make sure that you have a terms of srvice and refund policy clearly displayed somewhere on the domain. If you don't I think you can just set up a WordPress blog and put up your legal pages and refund policy and that would work. I'm sure most sellers already have that anyway. That process took 24 hours and then the website came back verified and I can now create payment buttons.

It seems they accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, bank debit, and other Payza accounts.

So far I have no problems with them and I have increased my business because I am now able to accept payments from people who live in countries that don't have PayPal. I have sold several solos through them and a few products to my subscribers who cannot use PayPal. I have made 1 withdrawal to my bank account with no problems (took 3 business days).

I'm happy with the service so far and have no complaints. Obviously they won't be competing with PayPal anytime soon, but it's a nice option to have if you have subscribers or customers who live in countries that don't have PayPal. It's also good to have another option for processing credit card payments should you lose your PayPal account.

That's just my experience so far. Again, it's only been about two weeks.
