Which hosting company for gossip website running on WP

Hi,

Can someone please advise which hosting company would be better to host an active gossip website running on Wordpress platform. Speed and good support is what I am looking in the hosting company but around $10 per month.

Hostgator or Bluehost vor Dreamhost?

The website has roughly about 30,000 - 50,000 uniques per month. I will eventually migrate to a dedicated server but for the next 6-12 months I just want something that will be good in speed and uptime that can handle high traffic.

Thanks

Am using Hostgator and loving it. Had sites surge in traffic on shared hosting and handle it fine. 2k uniques in 1 hour or so. 30-50k uniques should be easy with hostgator as long as your not running 50 plugins or something.

As far as Hostgator and Bluehost main admin panel - I thought there both running cPanel? Can you please advise what you mean that Bluehost is easier to manage. Thanks

I'm using Hostgator, IcdSoft & Dayanna.

All depends on what the project is. Think for yours I'd go with IcdSoft. Hostgator has awesome support but on several occasions IcdSoft has gone way above and beyond for support.

    Just my 2 cents.

I would also suggest HostGator for what you need. You can get the Baby plan for around $8 per month and it should do everything you need.

The speed is really good and the support is pretty nice. While the people are not the best possible tech support agents, they are decent and they're constantly available (a major plus).

Also someone brought this up, I think BlueHost and HostGator should be the same for management. Both run their own branded versions of Cpannel, so its essentially the same.

If you go with HG I've got some coupons listed at HostGatorHub.com

IDCSoft, as Doug Slaton mentioned, is generally well reviewed. If you decide you don't want HostGator, IDCSoft is a good bet as long as you're willing to pay one year in advance.
