I published two books through Lulu back in February of 2008. To me, it wasn't as cost-efficient as I *and my friends and fam who bought the books* would have liked. They weren't available via e-book format then as everyone wanted signed copies. I ended up purchasing the books, signing them and mailing them with only the cost of the books paid to me, so there was truly no profit...  Overall, I found the design and layout process exciting and simple. But these days my focus is strictly on publishing e-books. |
