creating an adsense account

Hi all,
I am complely new to the world of online marketing. I have been trying to create an adsense account but google wont let me. Do I need to have a website to create an adsense account? I had a website but google denied me because it wasn´t a live site¿?

Please help me understand how to create an adsense account and what are the possiblites I can use an adsense account for¿?

    Yes you need a webiste to start an adsense account. the best way to doit would be to get a free blog from www.wordpress.com or www.blogger.com (wordpress is favoured more highly from what i hear) so i would suggest that. Pick a niche topic that you had in mind and make sure you post atleast 5 relevent articles on your blog aprx. 300-450 words each. Then resubmit it to google. Your site should get approved with this strategy but dont expect it to get approved over night google usually takes 1 week+ to approve your site. When it does you should get an email telling you whether it was successful or not.
