What are your best converting affiliate products?

I want to create a list of all the best affiliate products to start offering my new list in the IM niche. They need to be of the highest quality and convert really well. What are your best performers?

So far I've got Jason Fladlien's products - He offers lifetime commissions on all his products.

Kim Roach's Traffic Dashboard - Seems to be a long standing product with great reviews.

Is there a place that lists information like this i.e current and popular products in the IM niche? What are the classics?

    I'm not sure if I'm alone in this, but why would I spend years testing offers to my list and then just tell anyone who asks what all that time and money has taught me so that they can just add to my competition?

      Let me rephrase, too, then.

      Over the last 3 years, I've probably done nearly 600 hours' work just to determine which ones really are popular, because (for fairly obvious reasons) that information isn't actually published anywhere reliable and I had to make a huge effort to judge it for myself (before I even start testing their conversion-rates with my subscribers/visitors). When I've identified and selected them partly on the basis of their low competition (which I've also had to do a lot of work to learn to judge for myself), why would I want to publicize them?

      Countless members of this forum are very generous at giving fishing lessons to other members, but some of them are a little less keen on being asked for a fish - and that's what you're (perhaps even short-sightedly?) asking for. Sorry if my answers are unhelpful, and please rest assured that I don't mean them impolitely: I'm just trying to suggest that - actually from your own perspective as much as anyone else's - you're asking the wrong questions. My best-converting affiliate products wouldn't be your best-converting affiliate products anyway, and there are reasons for that.

      I'll tell people how to catch fish all day long. If I have more fish than I can use, I'm happy to share. Just don't ask me where I caught them.

      Maybe I'm a bit cynical, but I'm not sure I'd trust an answer posted on a public forum like this.

      When I was growing up, my folks had a weekend cabin on a good fishing lake, close enough to town that it got a lot of play on the weekend. Most of the time, people played nice. Periodically, you got a bright soul who figured that he'd just watch the other boats to see who was catching fish and zoom in on their spots. He'd swoop in closer than was polite and start casting away.

      My brother and I, and later some of the other locals, figured out a strategy for these people. Once we figured out someone was poaching spots, we'd head out to the deepest hole in the lake. We'd tie a weight, like a soda bottle or brick, to the line and throw it overboard, then make a big ruckus over the huge fish that had the rod bowed over.

      Sure enough, Mr. Your Spot Is My Spot would come zooming out and start flailing away. We'd smile and wave, then tell 'em that that last whopper filled our limit and we were going in. We'd watch Mr. Your Spot whip that deep, empty water into foam while we quietly eased back to where the fish really were.

      Which is my long-winded way of agreeing with Andy and Alexa...

    It would completely depend on your list. What kind of -product they purchased and their objectives will define which products will convert the best..

    Wow I didn't expect this reaction at all. All I wanted to know was if anyone could recommend some good products to offer to a list. I didn't want to 'Poach' anything off anyone or steal any of your conversion data, just wanted a couple of recommendations that's all.

    It's clearly a touchy subject so I'll officially apologise for starting the thread and leave it at that.

    Had you just asked for some 'good quality' IM products, you might have gotten a different response. ..when you start wanting conversion data, it's a whole other ballgame....

      An interesting idea, but it would be out of date pretty quickly, I think? And what would make anyone imagine that the ones listed in such a "reference" would be the best converting ones for them, anyway?

      Conversion-rates vary enormously from affiliate to affiliate: one person's best-seller is another person's hopeless case.

      It all depends on the traffic sources and how they're pre-sold.

    Another problem with asking everyone else for product recommendations is that:

    Just because it converts well for them does not mean it will convert well for you

    You don't have the same list
    You aren't the same as them

    Finding a "good" product is only part of the equation. The product also needs to be the right one for its audience. The IM niche is huge - are you targeting beginners, intermediate or advanced? Are you concentrating on SEO, paid traffic or non google dependent traffic? Are you looking at affiliate marketing or product creation?

    And after you have found a good product that is right for your list - you will need to pre-sell effectively.

    And before all of this you need to have built a decent list and created a good relationship with them.

    I'm afraid that you aren't asking a question that any of us can give you a meaning ful answer to.

    I would stick to Clickbank products. You can easily sort them by popularity or gravity, these could be the factors you want to take into account.

    On the other hand, don't forget that people in you list receive significant number of emails from another affiliates. So your offer has to be quite unique.

    For example, for my list Bring The Fresh converted pretty well a couple of months ago, but since it is a popular product there is a high chance that your subscribers receive emails promoting BTF every day.
