I am hiring someone for the first time on oDesk to translate my website. I have heard of people making their contractors sign "confidentiality agreements" and other types of agreements that protect their interests. I want to be sure to do something like this. But can someone please help me understand: how to do it? What types of pacts are necessary and why?
