Crazy huh? Some people make this is a year working part time. I saw on a show one time a purse that was $100k and then they destroyed it with a chainsaw to prove a point. People with millions and billions will buy this stuff and think nothing of it.

I saw that same show!!! I was actually impressed with the star of the show because she was just a normal person...like the rest of us. She was appalled at the cost of that purse as well, even though she is in a position that she could get several of those kind of purses, if she really wanted to.

The girl you're talking about is Clint Eastwood's daughter, so I'm sure the price tag didn't bother her. I also like that they focused an entire episode about a single purse being so expensive, yet in the background of several shots , you could see she also owned clothing and handbags worth thousands more. :rolleyes:

I agree, however I like the fact that Clint Eastwood's WIFE actually realized how much that purse actually cost and how long it would take someone with an average salary to purchase something like that, if they didn't buy anything else at all or pay taxes or any of that. I like the fact that someone in this "world" is actually a little bit like the rest of us.

I think that's pretty much what they're doing, minus the bikini thing (as this is supposed to attract women, not men). They have a model with a perfect face promoting it. Personally, I wouldn't buy it even if I was so inclined as they are only selling three jars of it. If I get a product that actually works the way it's supposed to, I like to be able to get it again when I am out. This sort of "scarcity" is not actually a good thing for a consumable product like this.
