With 1000 to Invest, Most Everyone Agree an Adsense Site Would be Good 1st Buy?

I see this question comes up a million times for some amount $1000 or less. Therefore i wanted to open a proper discussion to promote what I feel would be the best way to begin grasping the concept of making money online.

Would everyone agree buying a website would be easiest for a beginner?

Format I'm thinking:
1) Buy something for 10x or less of monthly PROFIT

2) Something that has 60 days of up-trending traffic

3) Something that has ORGANIC traffic (preferred) OR commercial (purcahsed) traffic that's CLEARLY related to the niche & you can upkeep

4) A site that only has 1 advertiser (or less)on it. This way you can add an advertiser like InfoLinks / CPX / or other and instantly pick up some funding

5) Try to use Flippa . Regardless of what people say, it's still the #1 place to buy and the verified adsense helps A LOT , but it's not 100% accurate yet. Just make sure it's not more than $10 off from monthly claims I'd guess.

Warrior / Digital Point are good as well but i'd suggest asking for opinions on the forum of choice & also look at length of time buyer has been on site.

6) DONT SPEND 15% OF YOUR MONEY! Invest this is a Legitimate English-speaking writer that charges a Fairly competitive rate. Lots of them here on WSO. Get as many articles as you can get done, add them to website, daily.

A now-billionaire valued internet buyer purchased my first website. He taught me that the value is in COMPOUNDING INVESTMENT. Adsense is about 'adding digits' to your salary. Articles keep earnings a long time if it's good content, so if you put up 3 articles a day, eventually your money compounds and your traffic grows.

Know your niche, use this site to find the keywords you need to build your content/article subjects around: Keyword suggestion tool — Google suggest scraper — Ãœbersuggest

Remember, a site ranks higher in search usually when it has all the 'related news' to the domain subject.

7) Hope this helps! I know a little about this stuff but not really the most interested in following my own advice... Go figure.......... just so happens like that.

PS: I'm thinking about coaching . Would like to try on some subjects. So if you use some of the information and find it useful, would love to hear a report in replies.

Adsense would probably be good for a beginner. I never used adsense. The concept of getting paid per click does seem appealing. I just never liked that its only pennies per click and people are conscious of ads. If someone wanted to make some form of guaranteed money adsense would be good they would just have to get a boatload of organic traffic.

not true. It's all about the niche.

I learned quick , going for "high PPC" niches isn't always the winning way

If you go with some less educated markets, they think everything in Blue is part of the site.

      Further CTR Information:
      - Blue links still payout better
      - Implementing links in places you have other navigational links helps

a Get Clicks Quick Scheme but works:
      - set up a 1 page / landing page where there's blue non-clickable links... and then make it so they are set up to look JUST LIKE ADSENSE with small description below
      - Put the adsense right in center page or in a highly visible area
      - Try doing this for a "free pet" site .. singular animal...... ORRRR maybe a site about real estate / something popular on Craigslist
      - Advertise it on Craigslist in a VERY appealing / sensationalized way and link to your site.

You will get a high CTR and make a few hundred a month if you can master this and do it once a day.

I like that. A lot of people just slap adverts on their website and wonder why they don't get many clicks.

I would probably start off with Ebay, then hire someone to outsource the shipping and handling.

I have had great success with adsense so I will recommend you to start with adsense because this the best way to start for newbies and remember to learn everything about adsense because you might get banned for a single mistake.

Yes, adsense site would be a good first buy.

Adsense is very easy to be taken over. It's easy to maintain. It's perfect for newbies who want to wet their feet first in make money online world.
The biggest problem is only the google slap. Therefor, I think buyers still need to learn the basic of SEO, so they can pick adsense sites that surely can make revenue in long term.

Starting with adsense is not bad; I'm doing the same, but make sure that the site you're buying is in a good position with Google. You don't want to buy a site for it to tank after a few weeks. So, do proper research and check up on the site's backlinks before you buy it.

smartest investment would be to sit down for a moment and write down what you what to accomplish with your time online.

Are you looking to make a solid online income via your own sites or become an affiliate. Either way building a list would be a smart choice.

Are you looking to make some money adsense might be a good bet however you do need to learn seo and backlinking and correct methods of doing it otherwise you can really damage an existing good site.

There are to many factors that deal with each person that no solid answer can work for everyone.

Other than hosting and domains, my advice would be do NOT spend any of your money yet. Buying a site is a bad idea. By building a site, you will have to research how sites work and why, so you will actually UDERSTAND what works in practice.

I advise ONLY investing in something, once you've PROVEN that it works, for you, in practice. NEVER believe anyone else, on anything! Yes, AdSense is good, if you do it right, but if you just want to spend money, rather than understanding how things work, you are likely to fail, in my opinion.

Adsense is the best but it all depends on your research about that adsense site ( regarding genuine earnings and traffic)

great replies. Hopefully some people found it 'useful' and thanked me :-D

However, to those saying you need to understand the basics of SEO ( which can be found in a quick googling and reading of like 10 steps ), that is Correct. I did not thik I'd need to type such basic concepts.
