As for computers - I sent my first email in 1985, my first text message/IM in 1986 (phone on a VAX, talk on Unix). First video teleconference was in 1991. First massively multi player game was one on Compuserve in the late 80's (mega wars maybe - anyone with a better memory than an old fart like me remember the name?) Also played Trade Wars on a few BBS back in that time frame (luved Kabol Movers - We Move ANYTHING, ANYWHERE(TM).

Sold my first ebook in 1999 - on playing black jack. First ebook I purchased was Ken Evoy's Make Your Site Sell.

I am female -- no male could be this much of a wench.
I am 54 and don't mind posting my age. Everyone does it - there is only one alternative.
It's not that you age - it's how you do it. There isn't anything I could do at 20 that I can't do now - straddle roll, one handed cartwheel, mountain climb, whitewater raft etc.
There are a lot of things I know now that I didn't know then. My music is still rock, but I still like it real hard. Some kid at a concert asked me how old I was a couple of years back and I replied "old enough I didn't need mommy's permission to be here". She said "well I think it's really cool you are here" (It was Drowning Pool and Ill Ninio) That puzzled me that someone would think that once you cross an age barrier that you suddenly have to stop loving hard rock. Go figure.

Me, the cold hard truth is I'm 36. Over the winter, I noticed my hands starting to look like what I remember my mother's looking like when I was a kid. Skin a little loose, subtle lines. *SIGH*.

I was cool with it until I shared my discovery with a friend.
