It amazes me that anyone would ask such a basic question (completely open ended) without either adding specific details that they didn't understand or just going to google and typing "What is Amazon S3".

Googleable. A new term (for me) and I like it!

Just say it 5 times quickly. Out loud. Sounds like a cross between baby talk and someone on too much cough syrup. You could be hospitalized for it.

Well, let's see... google itself is quite googleable, so I googled google. All the search results come up "Google." Some kind of search engine thing. Not one blasted thing about that number with a 1 followed by a hundred zeros as far as the eye could scan...

S3 is a cloud based storage system so its elastic. Hence storing big data files on it makes sense. Beware of the fact that you shall have to pay for its usage.
