How To Spy Clickbank Upsells

Hey Warriors

Is there a way to see what upsells someone is offering on Clickbank without actually purchasing the product. Obviously, you put your credit card information in first before you see them - but does this mean you can't cancel your order before checkout. Are you locked into your purchase?

I like to see what competitors are offering as upsells and at what price. It's useful information. But I don't want to buy every product. (or buy and refund the product I don't think that's right)

Thanks!

    Just contact them!

Tell them that you want to purchase their product and ask if they offer any upsells

Also, check their affiliate program (or even sign up). Vendors in most cases provide thie possible affiliates with such information.

      Hey thanks.

Just realized you can also change the item # in the URL

      For example...

1.example.pay.clickbank.net ---> will take you to the order form

then just change the item# in the URL to 2 or then 3 etc.

If they have upsells you will see the order form, if not it says "item no longer available"

that works, but you still can't see their sales letter

If you want to see their full sales funnel, cross offers, follow-up emails etc you still have to buy the product. But that's not the problem on my opinion, since most clickbank products have "unconditional moneyback guarantee".

On the other hand, who knows, maybe you'll like their product SO much that there will be no need in refund

These may not necessarily be upsells, they
could just be additional items in the account.

You could try a Google search like so:
    "Product Name" upsells inurl:forum
with the idea being to find conversations about the product and any upsells.

Easiest, as mentioned - just ask the vendor.

If its a popular product you can look for reviews and they might list the upsells. Other then that just asking is probably the best way like Harvey said. Some of the products in Clickbank tell you on the affiliate page.

Actually it was not me who said that - though I do agree.

In addition if the upsell is handled by ClickBank's own upsell system (PitchPlus) you will see the PitchPlus icon in the Marketplace entry.

I've spied on upsells several times. You don't actually PAY until you are taken to the payment page and put in your paypal/cred card details. So what you do is hit the "add to cart" button and if there is an instant upsell, it will take you to that sales page....And then you can even add the upsell to cart to see what happens next. Upsells (the instant ones) happen before you put your payment details in usually, at least has been my experience.
