help with making money!

My site: Latest Music Releases has currently been running for 6 days and has 631 views. I tried to sign up for adsense a couple of times but kept getting disapproved! I have searched the web and found other site alternatives to adsense but would like to know what others work best for you? Also if you have any other ideas on how I could make money on my site then please let me know? I have signed up for amazon affiliates and have started including links in my posts but haven't yet had a sale, I've signed up for itunes affiliates as well but am still waiting to be verified!

Any help would be much appreciated and I'm sure I could help you out in some way or another!

Regards

THink I posted on another thread regarding your blog. I could not find the links to amazon on your blog. Are they embedded correctly? I tried to click on the 'buy the track here' link or something similar, but there is no hyperlink in it.

I would recommend you to use email marketing.

    I love Aweber.

Set up follow up emails that take them to different posts in your website.

Then you can send them email broadcasts once in a while whenever you have something important to tell them, or have an event.

Put an opt-in form in the sidebar so when they put their email address they join your list and get your emails.

Also you can create a squeeze page offering some free gift or newsletter and drive traffic to it through Facebook Ads and or Solo Ads.

    Good luck!

    Hi Cooperman,

I would like to start out by saying I like your website template, very cool.
Next I would like to be perfectly honest with you assuming that your niche is music and all your going to be doing is posting videos of latest music release you might find that this will be hard to earn money from.

There are just so many music entertainment websites out there that offer a much better and organized selection. Including radio station websites, and youtube it self. If people wanted to search for the latest music in a specific genre there are just way to many places to go. Infact I don't even see in Categories on your website.

I have listed a few suggestions please read them carefully:

    1. First your website may be a little to broad - you should narrow it down to 1-2 genres. Your favorite music genres would be the ideal choice.
    2. I would also mix a little controversial articles and news reports about artists or there music into the blog.
    3. I would also start this as a community website with my friends and family allowing them to view and comment on it before I trying bringing the rest of the world in.
    4. You will also need you own domain, something fly and quick to remember - that's how your going to get return visitors.
    5. One final thing you need to start off trying to build traffic, friends, family, school mats, old girlfriends, friends at the bar. Then just start online marketing campaigns. B/c the reason your not making money isn't because you don't have the right monetization, but b/c you don't have any traffic.
Amazon is a great idea and Itunes as well you don't need to go any further than that right now. Those 2 options alone can bring in thousands of dollars each month if you have the traffic. Adsense wont really work well with your types of visitors anyway. People want to hear music not click ads, GOOGLE wont approve you anyway with content and probably b/c of the structure of your website. You'll also need privacy policies, etc pages which you don't have. Also those music videos that are posted on your website may not have the right copyright licenses.

Traffic comes first then money, I hope you find my suggestions helpful.
