I'm having a bit of confusion when it comes to choosing a niche.

I like the idea of make money online and weight loss niches, but a lot of sites ban you from writing things about them, like squidoo etc.

Does anyone have any ideas of a niche that is popular and mainly allowed on most sites?

It's finding one that's profitable that's going to be hard - I know a lot about weight loss and nutrition, but this is seen as a "spammy" niche.

Argh! My head is just about ready to explode.

    Choose a Niche you enjoy.

My niche is Sites that are free to join and also offer free ways to make money.

I enjoy it and I've been making money this way for over 6 years.

I would think nutrition without the weight loss angle would not be seen as spammy. Maybe you just need to find a specialty in the nutrition niche.

It is important to pick a topic that you like or have knowledge on, especially if you are going to be writing the content yourself.

  • I killed it in the fitness niche. I just started in the IM niche recently and it is my favourite and I recommend it for various reasons. Who cares about squidoo and those sites any ways?

Well I guess if you know a lot of places to advertise. I don't know of very many. Does most of your traffic come through google?

I'm really interested in IM so I should go that way.. the aspergers thing is just a hobby.

I answered this exact question back on May 22 in this post. I bought the EMDs for it, but if you'd like to help me build it out, I'll split it with you.

Money online niche is a niche that is very tight and solid, but even so full we could get into it and make money. If not why we exist in this forum.
