I live in Japan and do a lot of different stuff. Catching public transport and not getting a seat or walking in the humidity with a suit on is not fun at all. Not exciting.

Leaving my 1 year old and 3 year old at home crying as I leave for work. Not fun either.

So the thought of being able to stay at home and even work as my child sleeps on my lap is magical and exciting.

3. The thought of, with 100% certainty, knowing I will earn millions.
4. Putting my money to good use.

A few things get me excited and money is one of them

The only other one I can mention is the feeling of satisfaction when you get to the point where you can help others. We have all had some help on the way up, so helping others(for me) is a great feeling, and actually more satisfying then the money itself.

Good question. For me I suppose its a lot of things. I've always been the be-my-own-boss type so there's that. Then there's the gamble - just like Reno or Vegas - I do something and mabye I'll win big or mabye I'll lose. Its the jazz. When I win big, its the feeling I get when I can share with others and enrich their lives too (i.e spend like a drunken sailor ). And I genuinely enjoy IM, even if I do get bored with it sometimes. But most important of all - its the smile on my lovely wife's face and the sparkle in her eyes when I accomplish something good.....
