I'm looking to outsource a data entry job (filling in data into an ecommerce store).

I need some recommendations of places that are reliable and cost effective.

You could try farming out your requirements at oDesk.com. It might not be that good from a service provider's point of view, but it's a great value for money from the buyer's point of view.

Go to getafreelancer.com and post project - you will get tons of bids to choose from and you can choose someone for longer terms on monthly payment basis also

I would reccomend trying odesk as well you can find people pretty cheap on there that can do a good job.

Yeah, try odesk.com. There are good providers you can hire at $1-$3/hour (not slave labor hehe, just seems to be the going rate there).

Try Guru, Craigslist, Odesk, and Elance, and Get a Freelancer. Not particularly in that order. Just pick one and go with it. Man it would be nice if people would stop shipping more jobs overseas. But thats a whole nother subject, and I understand the need to outsource cheap sometimes. But it still sucks.
