outsourcing content for affiliate promotion: what to I need to collect?

Im in the process of trying a few tests with affiliate promotions through clickbank. Mainly to get my head wrapped around the process, and to see my own data start trickling in.

After: keyword research, product to promote, wordpress, hosting and email setup

and Before setting up: squeeze page with opt-in, Aweber, etc.

There is content needed.

Most all systems I've seen/read never talk about content creation, or in my case content outsourcing.

I plan on outsourcing my websites content. From what I've gathered, I will need a pre-sale squeeze page with call to action for opting into my list, some pre-sale auto-respond email's to promote the product I am an affiliate for. Probably more content is needed, such as a free e-booklet or a video to immediately give the visitor once they opt in to my list.

Right now I am confused as to how I go about outsourcing this content.
- what do I need to gather for the copywriter?
- do I just provide them with a link to the affiliates page of the product I am promoting and let them take it from there?

I'm looking for a little help on the missing keys to the puzzle so I can get started in affiliate promotion.

Thanks

First of all you MUST decide what you want and where you want to get.

If you are just starting up , you might want to outsource a few articles on the niche you are working in.

    - Ask your writer for five or six articles using three of your best keywords (the ones you researched)

    - If you can afford to buy the product do so and write down an honest review (ask your writer to spice it up if you can't)

    - Build a blog and post everything. Bookmark your site with bookmarking free services and once you are indexed in Google , submit your articles to directories.

    - Make sure you have an optin box on every page, and offer a mini report or audio or video related to your niche.

So, your hired writer will want to know:

    1. What your niche is.
    2. What the product you want to sell is.
    3. They keywords you want to target.
    4. How many words you want on each article (500-700 maybe)
    5. The specific topic for each article (based on your keywords most of them).
    6. If you want a free report to give away for free you can hire that also, but you'd better know what you want it to be about. Many writers have great ideas, others don't. You must know what you want specifically.
    7. You must decide how many articles or autoresponder emails you want written.

Some really creative writers will go ahead and write for you with just a link to your product, but again... You are the marketer, he's the writer. You decide what you want, he writes it, spice it and makes it look good.

Another thing you must plan is how much do you wish to spend. Look for feedback before hiring someone you don't know and ask exactly what he/she can offer.

I'm not sure if my boring talk is of any help, but anyway... good luck, pal.

    Guess I need some coffee.
