Emails after emails asking me to take down links

It seems like I am receiving more emails asking me to take down the links from my website because "the links in my website are harming their website rankings".

Some emails even threaten me with legal processing. And I receive at least 2 phone calls asking me to take down their links.

Have you received such notices? If so, did you really do what they ask you to do? Or did you ignore them?

    If your site is harming their's, you better take down the links. Then, I would consider why your site is harming theirs and change it quick.
