Audio to text trancription

Hi fellow warriors,

I`m trying to find some software which could transcribe audio to text. It would be great if you could recommend something.

    Hi Easy,

    I used NCH Software sometime ago to do this and it worked just 'ok' when doing an ebook.

    You may also wish to use Fiverr.com as they are actual people who can understand your voice properly.

    If can have Camtasia Studio, it has that functionality.

    Did not know that Camtasia studio has that option. I wasn't in need to shoot videos thats why I thinked that I dont need this program. Now I think differently. Thank you both for the answers.

      That was news to me as well, but it can be done if you have the Microsoft speech to text already installed on your PC.

      I believe this is for version 7, but it may be available on older versions ( I use version 7).

        few weeks ago I solved my problem but thanks for advice. jup I hadnt instaled microsoft speech recognition prgram. had some problems with this microsoft software. Found in google program called ''e-speaking voice and speech recognition software. It`s old but worked for me. ) For my purpose I found better software called ''Dragon naturally speaking'' I think it have way better features than camtasia. But its induvidually, some would say differently. I`m for sure its better if you have both programs, both of them are useful.
