Hey Sean,
You can possibly arrange a JV with a another product owner, which will promote your give away e-book in his thank you page as a bonus to the buyers\subscribers.

This way, you get new opt-ins and he get a product to build his value without creating it, or another valuable thing like free promotion to your list.

I'd say all of the above suggested answers are good.

Also, you may want to try offering it as a free/low cost WSO. This sometimes works, sometimes does not. Although I have not done it personally, I've seen other Warriors have a great success giving away their WSO as a free WSO, but that's never a guarantee.

Overall, the more eyeballs you get it in front of, the more likely you are to gain additional subscribers.

Free giveaways are often appreciated by people. But if you want to make it as a WSO for a low price, you are also welcome. If you are planning for a free giveaway, just make a thread here and post it under your post. I have seen m many to do the same.

Hey Sean,

1) Create a squeeze page offering the ebook and then drive traffic to the squeeze page.

2) Use the ebook you just wrote as a traffic generator in itself. Here's what you do. Include links in your ebook to another squeeze page (you'll have to make a new one) and then upload the ebook to ebook directories like:

Free-eBooks.net | Download free Fiction, Health, Romance and many more ebooks
Ezine Directory and eBook Directory
eBooks, ePubs, eBook best sellers, eBook bargains - eBookMall

Reverse psychology. Do your best to prevent others from sharing it, threaten life & limb to those who do, and protect your ebook zealously. It will end up in every torrent & black hat site before you know it!

PS: Is that Alex Jeffries with you in your signature picture?

I'd go with the link in the signature option. Set-up a tracking plugin on your blog (just search for "link cloaker") and you'll be able to track how many times you report has been downloaded.
People generally appreciate a free gift and will might turn into repeat visitors for your site etc.

Promote it on the ebook directories. Promote it on your main page (create a squeeze page for it). Promote it on relevant forums in your niche. Promote it on your blog, and do video marketing for it and lead people back to your site. Also write up some articles and do SEO to get traffic to your site.

You can write an article and submit it to ezine articles.

Those interested in what you wrote, will click on your link to land in your squeeze page. Once in your squeeze page, if they like what they see, some of them will sign up to get your free report.

That is how you give your free report away to people.

You can use facebook, email signature, article marketing, and other traffic techniques to send people to your squeeze page.
That is the way is done in this days.
