Newbie question about jvzoo

Hi everyone,

Being a newbie in IM, I decided to upload my product on jvzoo to see what would happen (it's free, so I figured 'why not'?). Having recently started in IM, I have no emailing list of some sorts, or any other tool at my disposal I can use to drive traffic to my sales landing page.

That said, I wasn't expecting to make a lot of sales doing this. However, when I look at jvzoo's seller snapshot, I see my page is visited/clicked on by about two people a day, whereas the average wso easily gets 100 views. Is it me, or is jvzoo a ghosttown compared to the wf?

I also have some questions people here can maybe help me out with:

What would be a good way for a newbie to draw traffic to his landing page? Is there some wso-product maybe that someone can recommend?
I have been getting some affiliate requests on jvzoo, but when I send out emails to these people, I don't get any replies, so what would be a wise/prudent affiliate strategy?

I'm planning on doing a wso in the near future, and kinda consider jvzoo a playground for me to practice a little (no disrespect to jvzoo), see what works and what doesn't. If anyone can help me out on the questions above, that would be great!

Thanks in advance!
Lennard

The same is happening to me. Lots of affiliate requests. Some show that they have sold already products but others show no sales at all.

The WF and WarriorPlus marketplace is still king dispite JVZoo, Mooshpay, digiresults etc putting up some stiff competition.

The best way to get lots of traffic to your landing pages is through paid traffic, SEO, article marketing, blogging and the like take up alot of your time if you cn't outsource and they can also take a lot of time to work as well.

To start off with you could try PPV for cheap traffic, solo ads are good too. For solo ads try the solo ad revolution and for PPV have a look for stuff by charles kirkland

I think you are confused about the primary function of JVZoo. JVZoo is not a classified site, like the Warrior Forum's WSO section is. JVZoo is an affiliate platform that you use in conjunction with sales threads on the Warrior Forum, your blog, or static sales page. It is designed to match affiliates / JVs with your product and sales page, so you can make more sales.

We do have an affiliate directory, but you should be seeking out affiliates that want to promote your product. Recruiting affiliate and JV partners is an important step in a successful launch of a digital product. Once you have some conversion and EPC numbers, recruiting affiliates gets easier and easier, as they will have an idea of how well your product will do for them. You can point these numbers out to them in your pitches and lots will start to take notice of you in the affiliate marketplace on their own.

Let me know if I you have any questions.
