Conversion tracking help: banners to my cart, best solution? Prosper202? JAM?

Hi guys, I've searched around for this but need help still.

I have a shopping cart (cubecart) that sells digital products related to podcasts. Many times people will buy a week or two after they discover our site and sign up for the autoresponder sequence.

I want to pay for banners on other peoples sites, but I need to know whether bought traffic from these banners/links, end up converting to sales.

I have two solutions in mind. First is prosper202, but I don't know if it can track click-throughs to conversions over time like this (I know I can put a tracking pixel on my conversion page).

Second is to run 3rd party affiliate software on my domain, like jrox Jam, which integrates with cubecart, and basically set each banner up as a fake affiliate to see how much money it makes me over time.

Any ideas which might be best? Any suggestions?

Can anyone help? Should this be in the PPC section?

Use google analytics. It tracks your every campaign in detailed level. banners, emails, text ads, articles, EVERYTHING. It then calculates conversion ratio for each campaign

Thanks Alp. What I'm not sure about though, is how I would set up a link from an outsite banner not in the Adwords program (e.g. a paid ad banner placed on someone's site), to later reflect conversions. I know Analytics has the 'goals' function, but I've always found it pretty useless!

So I'm still not sure how to use Google Analytics like this.
