What is Your Preferred Method of Course Content Delivery?

As an avid info product junkie, I've got to say that the course format has a lot of bearing on whether I will buy the product or not.

A pdf is a must have, but I don't like to read hundreds of pages of copy when I can watch a video that does the same thing. I really like courses with video, even if it is a screencast format. Audio is ok, but I think a combo of Video and PDF works best for my consumption.

What about you?

PDF, I find it difficult to click on the links in the screencast

Seriously, PDF & Video are a knockout combination for me mostly because I'll read the PDF (possibly print it out) while the screencast is running in the background then peer up when the boring speaker calls attention to something specific.

I actually prefer learning with someone there watching me and stepping me through it. Books help to supplement the information I get but since you are not asking about one on one time with the teacher, then I have to go with the PDF and video as I can learn from the video while using the PDF for reference material. (That or a good doorstop if it is not written well. LOL)

I prefer video, but with a twist. Lately people are putting their video content into a membership site. I don't have to download anything, I can play it at will, I can play it where ever I have an internet connection, and I have some assurance that it isn't going to just disappear. ( some )

I don't like all Camtasia video's however. Some are good, but I prefer a live speaker showing me stuff. The Ross Goldberg virtual seminars were almost perfect, except for consumption after the seminar they really needed to cut out the minutes of "is this working? Ok.. yeah. .I hear you , oops... etc "

Video on a managed site with a proprietary application that allows me to integrate advertising in the player to get around the no links in video (and there ARE ways to put links into video as well... depending on format)
