Hi All,

I am a newbie to Expired/Aged Domains and I don't know what happened.

In March I registered I bunch of domains through namecheap.com.

One domain in particular was first created in 2008.

But know that I look at it through a site that checks the age, it says:

Domain Created on:
March 28 2012

Domain age (approximately):
2 Months, 26 days.
(seologs)

What happen? Do I did a do something wrong?

Does Google reset the domain age automatically when you register?

This is fustrating
Any assistance will be greatly apreciated.

It sounds like the domain name expired/dropped and then you registered it.

Whereas the preferred approach (but not the only approach) is to buy the domain before it expires/drops if you want to preserve the original registration date.

The use of the terms "expired/dropped" may not be technically accurate in the context of what you're asking, but hopefully it makes some sense.

If you didn't buy the domain after expiration, try to contact the support for this issue.
