Ok Traffic Gurus - show how smart you are!

Hi,
I'd like to have feedback on this site:
www.walkawaytoday.org

specifically, things that you would do to provide social proof
AND how you would drive traffic to the site.

PLEASE be specific in your feedback.

---ALSO---

I should clarify who the target market is.

first, homeowners who have properties in default/preforeclosure who want to walk away from the property quickly.

second, gatekeepers (affiliates) such as Realtors, lenders, short sale negotiators, loan modification companies, etc who can refer clients for a referral fee

Hope that makes sense
Thanks

I'm no traffic guru, but I do know that you don't have any relevant keywords in your domain (i.e. foreclosure, avoid foreclosure, etc.) and that's bad for SEO purposes.

    Hi Volcanic,

You may want to pre-order my latest DVD series... it's all about getting traffic to real estate relted websites and blogs. check out www.RealEstateRocketFuel.com we are still in pre-launch and you can pre-order the DVD set. It's a live 6 hour seminar I did yesterday on viral and social marketing for real estate agents.

Do the stuff and the traffic will come.

Making out you're challenging people to show their skills as a thinly veiled way to get people to tell you what to do is a little lame.

Why not just say you need help and ask for advice?

I would've taken a look and given some advice if you asked for help, but you cheap challenge just irritated me and I never even looked at your link.

It would've probably even made all the difference if you just stated what your current thinking was and what efforts you've already made.

        Hey there,
Actually, I did ask for advice outright, but nobody responded lol! I was hoping to get some advice by asking straight up, but didnt.

I'm actually doing a lot of advertising directly to classified sites where ppl put up properties for sale, and that's going decently, but I'm looking to increase volume significantly

I have outsourced workers who can do forum posting, data entry, etc. Basically I'd like to utilize them to do all the free/low cost advertising first

Yes, but I currently have two outsourced workers in the phillipines who can do work, and I'd like to explore all the free/low cost forms of marketing first

I was given an "infraction" for posting a link to my website that is all about social marketing and marketing in the real estate IM market.

Let me give you some advice right here...

Set up free Blogs on blogger and title them what people who are searching on Google would search for. You can set up multiple free blogs with links back to your website.

This works for lower traffic or lower keyword dominated keywords. Do a search on Google for things that people who are searching for your topic would search for. Check the numer of competing sites.

If you have less than 700,000 competeing sites, then set up a blog and title it THAT KEYWORD string.

Do this over and over and you will get traffic because you will get higher rankings for your blogs if they have the keyword in the title.

hey wb, good advice... I've also found that if the competition doesn't have it in their name period then it may be as simple as creating an article with the keyword string in your URL i.e. xxx.com/xxx etc... That way you can still get the added benefit without the hassle of creating a completely new blog just to capture that keyword term, in addition, its obvious that links matter alot more anyways, if you disagree then explain why Carl Ocab.com comes up when you type in make money online... good advice nonetheless lol..
