Do You Use Process Theory?

It is only within the last year or so that I have begun to apply process theory to my online marketing efforts.

I realised that my professional management experience could be brought to bear on processes such as:

- Traffic Generation
- Prospect Acquisition
- Affiliate Acquisition

... and so on.

So I have begun to define my key metrics and I have my continual improvement process to tweak the others.

It all comes, as I said, from my professional experience back in the old world I left behind last September to go full time in IM.

I just wondered how many other Warriors are using their professional business/management expertise - especially process theory - in the running of their online businesses.

    I guess you can say I am. I keep preaching along those lines. I would put affiliate acquisition at the top of the list.

      Well, it's not an exhaustive list and it's also not in any particular order. But, I would say that you can't really do well through affiliates unless you can also convert visitors into prospects.

      So, RRN, I'm interested in which aspects of your professional expertise you apply to your online efforts.
