Looking for the BEST membership script

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello,

I have been running my membership site on the EZ-Membership Script and am looking to hire someone to build me a new site that will become more automated. So far I am really liking what WHMCS can do for me even though its a script that is made for hosting. Before I make this leap, I would really like to get everyones input on what membership is the best out there? FYI: Price is not an issue.

I like the optimizepress one, if you don't already have it - it's a one off $97.

Totally worth it though, makes nice sales and squeeze pages also.

Try aMember Pro, it is also best for membership sites and can be attached with many plateforms like vbulletin, wordpress, etc...

for a full blow membership script the one I like is amember pro however I have used others like LFM which are ok but still have their bugs in them.

Check out Rapid Residual Pro by Steve Odette. RRP is a fantastic platform and you won't find better support.

Digital Access Pass is the best one for me.

It will do everything you want, it's very well supported, and they keep making updates and changes based on user feedback.

Sorry just had to point out, OP is asking about the 'best membership script'

Wishlistmember, s2member (free) DAP, amemberpro all come to mind.

Has anyone tried subscriptionmate? only $27 and has the ability to dripfeed content

I went with Profits Theme. It fit my budget.

More or less Profits theme does what Optimizepress 97 bucks and Wishlist 97 bucks do in one package for half the price.

I've heard great things about Digital Access Pass, but for now it's out of my league. In the future I will probably use Profits Theme and Digital Access Pass.

P.S. Amember is overpriced, and they make you renew your license once a year - no warning. My site was down for god knows how long costing me a $hitload of money. Total B.S. Plus you can only use amember on one domain. - total rip off. LFM you buy and you own it for life and can use it on as many sites as you want.

I am coming out with my own membership theme that is going to kick a$$. I have been researching what the current themes lack and putting the best of everything into a wicked theme. This isn't going to be ready for a while though, but when I launch it I expect it will do very well.

It will also be reasonably priced, and for use on unlimited domains.

The WSO Launch code theme is ok. It is inexpensive, not exactly perfect, but it does the trick and is easy to use.

WillR seems to be one of many that like Digital Access Pass, or "DAP" for short. I for one have been having compatibility issues with s2member. It is no fault of s2member, but from what I understand the theme's script interferes with s2members script.

And just an fyi, I have used s2member before with no issues. This is the only exception.

I'm a Wordpress/Wishlist Member guy. s2member is decent for a free one but it's a royal pain to set up and it can't hide menu items from non-members without additional help (also a pain) but instead let's people click the links and be redirected to the 'you're not a member message'. At least this was how it worked last time I used it.

So anyway, Wishlist Member is what I recommend.

From my experience, amember pro is great script and also simple to use and install, also works with multiple payment processors. For a free choice, I recommend S2 member.

I was thinking of getting aMemberPro but it seems like integration with Aweber is not possible at this stage. Originally they did integrate but then later they abandoned it due to "problems".

My question is, when setting up a membership site, how important is it to integrate with Aweber?

  I like Digital Access Pass, or "DAP" for short which can do most things word press and non-word press and integrates with most auto responders and payment gate ways
  
  I also like wish list member although it seems to be just word press based,i may be wrong
  I do like the single opt in feature when connecting to get response
  
  I have used Butterfly marketing in the past which did a great job in its time I understand its open source now so maybe someone has updated it ,
  To make its use easer to use
  
  My personal favourite is DAP

I have my own IM membership site and i use

Optimize press - $97 (this is so you can set up a nice looking membership site with good navigation etc)

FastMember - $297 (fast member is the entire security of your membership site, because optimize press just provides the membership platform but no security

this combination is working awesome for me and things are building nicely
