Youtube video vanished from google ranking

I did a test run with a video on yourtube for some video marketing. 10 minutes, it was ranked, the 8th page. Within 24 hours it was ranked 4th page. Now its gone, can't even find it.

When I uploaded the video, I changed the title around to having my primary keyword at the front, instead of the end. Could this have completely changed where I rank? If I search my direct title of the video, my thumbnail doesn't even show up, but its on the first page. ( Irrelevant, as I wanted it ranked for a 2 word keyword, not my entire title. )

I also did a bunch of pingging to 10,000+ sites, hopefully increasing my rank from 4th page to first, but now its gone! I can't find it on google. Its still up on youtube though. This was only a test, and I want to find the reason its gone now.

You did something that Google didn't like. Maybe "pingging to 10,000+ sites?"

I thought that, But it was pinging different sites, not related to google. I also did that right after uploading the video. Its been 3 days, I don't think that was the reason. But if it is, and my newest video doesn't downrank in the next few days, I'll know for sure. Just wanted to know everyone elses' take on it.

I don't know if that was it, but never doubt that Google knows what you do. I only ever share on FB, G+1, Twitter and a few other bookmarking sites.

It's more about how well your video is optimized.

I suspect you checked the ranking first time when your logged into your Google or youtube account? It might not be the ranking just for you.

Not sure just a different angle to think....

I've been keeping an eye out for its ranking every few hours a day with my iphone. Which is not connected to my youtube account at all.

Google HATES quantity links that are rushed up in a matter of a day or so. I suggest uploading the same video several times with a few variations in order of keywords/title/description etc. Although as it seems there is only a single video you are focusing on i would run a google blacklist check (just search google blacklist checker) to just see if it has been de-indexed. If everything is fine with it then its probably just google dance and you vid will be back up in a few days
