Do people spin affiliate marketing material to use in their squeeze pages and auto-responder emails?

    Not people who like money.

could you explain that briefly please?

      Is it plagiarizing?

Is it because search engines recognize it as not original?

Is it because product creators don't allow it?

      Is it just unethical?

      other

I just like to know the reasons for doing things, and the reasons for not doing things in whatever I pursue.

It is if you didn't write it yourself, clearly. You can't take other people's content without permission and spin it - that's "derivative works", which are a breach of copyright.

Search engines can't see your autoresponder emails.

A squeeze page is a page with a prominently incentivized opt-in and no other content. I think you didn't really mean "squeeze page", but I'm not certain what you did mean?

You can always ask. When you're an affiliate, some vendors will give you articles to use (however you like), and some will even give you pre-written autoresponder emails. Not so many, but some. (They vary in quality, but they can be good).

"Spinning" tends to produce garbage, unless you really labor over it at great length. It's easier to re-write.

I do actually sometimes use some of the material from my articles, re-written, in some of my autoresponder emails. So I shouldn't have given your original question quite such a "flip" answer.

But don't use "automated/software spinning", really, really, really.

pre-sale or sales landing page is probably what I meant. The type of page you get when you go to a website hyping the product you are promoting, then the visitor registers their email. Afterwards, the auto responder sends out a sales email with the affiliate links embedded into it.

I thought that was a squeeze page.

Thank you for your reply, it cleared things up for me.

Why would you spin Email content?

I'll make no or little sense to your readers and spinning emails achieves nothing.

If you are trying to spin Product Creator sales page to rank on SEs then don't waste time on that.
