The Secret To Online Success Nobody Wants You To Know About!!

Hey Fellow Warriors, hope you are well.

After many years marketing online i want to share with you something very special !!

THE NUMBER 1 SECRET IN MY OPINION TO ONLINE SUCCESS !!

Both myself and my wife Elaine have build several successful businesses online over the years and i want to share with you our findings.

In my opinion the secret to online success is hidden offline, when i say hidden offline what i mean by that is that our biggest online successes have always involved offline techniques.

To be fair we do have income streams that are solely based online but our main most profitable businesses always involve offline techniques.

I know for a fact that many of the big named gurus have started out by creating a following offline and then driven their customers online, these raving customers then do exactly that, talk and rave about the said person and in turn slowly generate an online wave of hungry followers, now all online !!

Like throwing bread to ducks on a pond you can eventually drive the ducks onto the shoreline and you watch as more ducks start to follow as they hear the sound of the ducks on the shore !!

I have studied our successes, and i have studied the paths of some successful online marketers, and i am happy to stand firm and state that in my opinion you have to mix offline methods with online methods to find true success.

The trouble is that a lot of newbies come into the arena, they find a well known mentor who happily sits there, takes their money, and promises them riches, yet never is there ever any mention of the offline seminars and workshops promoted through offline media and direct mail etc that originally put that mentor into the success he or she has achieved.

People then sit there, dejected and skint wondering why they cannot find success.

Trust me, there are some wonderful ways to gain a mass following offline and then drive those people online, and i mean in any niche.

We drive people online in niches like Photography, Auto, DIY, Internet Marketing, Offline Business Mentoring, etc etc, and i can tell you without any shadow of doubt that our following online then grows.

Hope this has helped a few people and made you think a little more about your business model, because at the end of the day whatever niche you are in, you are running a business, and no matter what anyone tells you, i can tell you that not all your prospects are sat online just waiting for you to come and find them,
to make a success you have to spread yourself both online and offline.

We live in an offline world remember, not an online world, we have evolved over thousands of years offline, and this still exists today, as fresh and as solid as ever, you just need to use the amazing offline techniques along with the amazing online techniques and you will find success.

All the very best
Steven Sanderson

you have to mix offline methods with online methods to find true success.
Yes, I've seen this concept applied by Reddit's founder, combine offline with online to get initial traffic at their early stage.
To get initial traffic, they put stickers about Reddit throughout the city... This stickers made people curios about Reddit and search the site online.

Also, look at the competitor: Digg. They get the initial traction from offline also, when Kevin Rose talked about the site on his offline TV Shows.

Internet Marketing is not all about SEO

Part of the problem is that people see online and offline marketing as separate.

It's all marketing using different forms of communication.

Limiting yourself to just online marketing would be as dumb as opening a retail location and saying "okay I'm paying all this money on rent so people will walk into the shop so there's no need for me to have a phone...ever!"

They're just different forms of communication and at any stage of a sales process some forms of communication work better than others.

Smart marketers look for and test different ways of communicating to work out which works best.

      Kindest regards,
      Andrew Cavanagh

Offline, huh. The Internet has become that big that a lot of people forget that the offline world can be really useful when you're starting up a business. As a lot of people in the advertising world say, word of mouth is not dead. Having a strong presence offline is something that you would need to gain a lot more followers online. Reaching out online is never enough; if you make it a point that you reach out to your followers even in the offline world, they'll definitely stick to whatever it is that you're providing them.

I agree. If you do alot of business online and provide People with good info and help they want to meet you get to know you. It is a primary part of our social structure, we want to see and get to know the people we trust. Combining online and offline gives people more trust and security and that is what is needed to do big business and setup longterm relationships. Leaders, followers and the chance to met. Must I say more.....

Yes, offline is a real goldmine. I have got a few clients too but the problem is getting the clients. It is quite easy in places where people know about online promotion but not in my place.

You are right and I agree with you. But what happens when you live in a small island in the middle of the pacific ocean where you cannot gain access to the masses offline?

Well the population of that island would never sustain a good income anyway so you simply market offline and online to the rest of the world, im in the UK but i could easily market offline into any city in the world.

I'm glad i'm on this forum where 98% of the people are actually trying to take action in life. I know some people who will learn, learn, and learn... and then learn some more, and NEVER take action. But for me, it's totally different. I'm a go-getter.

Like 50 Cent said... "get rich or die tryin".

Always go back to the basic . You hear it all the time, word of mouth is the best marking. I have done offline campaign for CPA dating, where I print out some flyer, I paid a couple high school kids to put out some flyer on car wind shield at some plaza, Great result.
Just like he said take them from offline to online.

Hi Steven, thanks for sharing your secrets it is greatly appreciated. I agree that the two combined do create a huge cash windfall for a business and we can see all of the big players doing the same.

Yes - and this can be done in different ways depending on the business.

I have had businesses that have started completely online where I tested, refined the messaging and product offering for low-cost and then scaled the marketing offline where advertising rates are higher, but ROI potential is much higher IF your message to market match is on.

I have also helped clients take their offline businesses online - where we have opened up entirely new global markets for local businesses.

Agreed that both online and offline combined works best, but that is a pretty general statement, the details are what matters.

This applies to affiliate marketing as well. The little guy can win in heavily entrenched competitive niches often dominated by deep-pocketed SEO professionals by driving traffic through offline promotions.

Golden nuggests of wisdom Steven...Basic concepts of marketing are always the same both in offline and online.

What I have found is you can build greater trust, stronger bond offline than online, where there is so much competition and attention span of visitors is limited to just a few seconds.A combination of offline and online is the way to go.
