add website to existing website?

Hi, id like to sell local websites and would like to add one on to my existing website as an example for prospects to see. Id include the link to it in an email to them. My question is how do i do this?

With all the links working in the example website (local plumber). Like home, about us, contact us etc.

EG: www.mywesbite.com/localplumberwebsite/

This is probably pretty basic stuff, i've never done it before. So if anyone can tell me what its called (add on website?) and point me to some resources on how to do it, would be much appreciated. Oh by the way, my existing site is WordPress.

Thanks

I can only add that most hosts support the alternative, subdomains, which can be made a little more independent of the main site and to the uninitiated look more like a standalone site:

Your example www.mywesbite.com/localplumberwebsite/ is basically is known as a sub-directory. If you have a control panel such as a cPanel, you can do it pretty easy.

If your web-host will allows it, you can add a sub-directory as mentioned about and install another WordPress in that directory. Contact your web-host and ask about sub-domains.

Yeah, a lot of people do it. So I think that you should definitely try it out. Who knows it might be worth it.
