Do YOU use Clickbank for recurring billing?

You do if you promote your product/membership well to affiliates, who are satisfied that it provides good value and converts their traffic.

It's true that some good affiliates may be drawn to recurring billing products, but not always right out of the gate: some want to see what proportion of people remain subscribed, first (this can be calculated well enough from ClickBank's Marketplace statistics).

Yes, the fees are a bit on the high side, it's true. But in exchange for that, you get the potential availability of some experienced, pro-affiliates who like using ClickBank because they're never dependent on the vendors for payment, there.

ClickBank does ban persistent refunders, but that doesn't avoid all of them.

You'll have a way of disabling their membership when/if they refund? But yes, they can access your material that way. That problem isn't specific to ClickBank though? The only complete solution to that is probably not to offer refunds, but it may be very hard to get good affiliates, that way: the availability of guaranteed, no-questions-asked refunds is what makes the sales so easy, after all.

The reality is that refund rates vary hugely from affiliate to affiliate, of course, depending on various factors, including how the product's pre-sold.

With CB when you promote IM related products you can expect a frustrating amount of refunds..

Unless you have an army of CB affiliates ready to promote for you then I would go with some other payment operator.

But, how do you attract Clickbank affiliates when you're new? Seems like a big hurdle to overcome, at the start.
