Anyone have experience with Amazon Fulfillment?

I am thinking of listing my physical product with amazon fulfillment and have them take care of all my shipping and handling needs for orders fro my own site and theirs. I looked at their prices and they seem reasonable. I also trust them as they are so well established in this field.

Does anyone have experience with them?

Thanks a bunch

I've heard really good things. I tried to let them fulfill one of my products but they said the category was full and to check back later...

very little on the review site for FBA. I have a sellers account and was considering sending my product direct from manufacturer over to Amazon, but after the fees and storage, the margin shrinks a lot. For me it's because i sell heavy fitness items. I decided on shipwire which will actually do a lot more since they are a small business whereas a lot of the complaints about amazon were for them being a lot too impersonal. taking 2-3 weeks to resolve an issue, and losing items.

I watched their webinar and even with the shipment fee's to their warehouses you will still make more money because buyers will qualify for super saver shipment for amazon etc.

I did however read some reviews about when customers send products back to amazon they just destroy them without giving the option of shipping it back to the seller (me and u) to me that's BS so I'm not gonna use them.

Could you give me the link to the company you are using right now?

        Cheers

WHOA WHOA WHOA they have an option that they can dispose of merchandise FOR you if you do not want or need it anymore. I do not think a fullfillment company would destroy your products for no reason.

With that sai have you checked other fullfilment houses? The thing i dont like about amazon is that they use thier branded boxes not plain ones. No first hand experience with it though.

here is another house i have heard good things about

    webgistix.com

    no affiliation.

They say they have an option to return the products to the seller but I read their own forum where a bunch of people complained about how amazon just destroyed their returned products without notice or giving them the option. Its ridicilous yes.

Thanks for the link I'll check them out.

Sometimes Amazon does destroy products rather than return to the seller. Its happened to me.

You can complain and usually get reimbursed.

Amazon is great but their system has a few cracks and you'll have a few headaches to deal with.

I have a lot of experience with FBA...Amazon Fulfillment is a great business model and also a very good way to get your products in front of millions of buyers.
Their fulfillment system does have its own rules and regulations but the benefits of having your item listed on Amazon (if you chose to do so) outweigh the drawbacks.

FBA = Easiest way to get the all-mighty Buybox. It is a hassle though at times to get it set up.
