Clickbank & Traffic Xchange sites

I know that a lot of people say that traffic exchange sites are useless because everyone is just trying to get traffic to their pages without really being interested in what other sites people promote. Though has anyone had any luck with promoting landing pages with exchange sites?

The views that you get from traffic exchange sites are not worth anything at all.

Makes sense since it's not targeted...the page could be irrelevant to who's viewing it.

traffic exchange sites are pretty useful in contrast to what you people think. you can use them in lots and lots of different ways if you think creatively.

A good way to at least make folks aware of you.

I disagree with the idea that TEs are not targeted traffic. You just need to understand what that traffic is looking for.

Granted it is not targeted traffic for just anything thrown out there. You have to realize that if your selling snow shovels only a small percentage of those that see your ad will be interested and at the time they see your ad they will be too busy clicking for credits to spend much time on your offer. Bad traffic.

If however, you are promoting what they are all there for the traffic value starts to look better. So why are they there? Two reasons. They want to promote their business and they want to make money.

If you can address one or preferably both of those issues and do it with a splash page that can tell your story in 5 seconds you'll find you have very targeted traffic. Keep in mind though they have already seen offers for the latest greatest one button wonder so many times they see it in their sleep. So don't waste your time with affiliate offers there.

If you have a truly unique offer that addresses their needs they can be some of the best traffic around.
