AutoBlog software recommendations?

I'm looking to make a little passive income, not take over the world and make $30,000 by the end of next week (though it would be nice!)

Whilst I know a little about IM but dont have a lot of time to maintain sites etc - I reckon about 4 hours a week MAX - However I regularly find great domains and high CPC KWs - can anyone point me in the direction for software that will autoblog, run adsense and possibly clickbank ads/banners?

I've looked into this software too and it's generally agreed the leader right now is WP Robot. You can buy the core software and then just purchase the add on modules you need. I haven't seen any robust free options out there though.

    Sorry not to discourage you.

Autoblogging may lead to your adsense account ban. Affiliate products rarely convert with autoblogging.

    I have some autoblogging experience.

But its not that autoblogging is dead, you have to strategically autoblog without compromise with quality or user experience. Think about Autoblogging videos and images instead of text.

Autoblogging text may be of poor qualiry and get high bounce rates, but not images or Videos..

    Hope this helps?

I HIGHLY recommend WP Magic by Roger Rowe. He has a posting on the forum here that saves you money vs buying from his website.

The traffic to these sites has actually gone up since the penguin update, and I know he mainly monetizes with adsense and amazon.

It's a bit pricey, around $147, but well worth it. Best piece of autoblog software I've found, and I've tried quite a few.

      Good luck!

I have WP Robot and used it a bit at first until I heard that auto blogging can actually hurt your rankings. I'd be careful with it.

They had WSO for it too

Yeah, I don't autoblog because the quality of the posts is too low. However, if you use more of a curation strategy and choose the content carefully you can do a hybrid blog that is a much better quality for visitors and from an SEO standpoint. I recommend loading Google Reader with great feeds and daily reviewing and selecting some to be posted on your blog. This can be semi-automated.

Interesting... how would I semi-automate it?

So in essence here's how you can semi automate it. For example you review all the feeds on Google Reader, the ones you choose you send to for example a Tumblr account, then you take you're Tumblr feed and give that URL to a WordPress plugin that will publish each item in the feed as a post on your blog say once an hour. I don't know if Tumblr is the best option for this but it's just an example. You could then use dlvr.it : feed your blog to twitter and facebook or a similar service to push the items in your blog feed to many social media profiles as well.

WP Robot is the best. I have many auto-blogging plugins and tools but if you can use TBS with WP Robot the content is not too bad and you can make some $$$.

Don't use WP robot and ad-sense, unless you not making any "eye catching" income. 1 manual/human review and you will be instantly de-indexed and/or account banned. WP robot leaves footprints, so unless you know how to code, i would serious avoid losing your AS account.

I would go with wprobot, nothing beats that. It is really a good plugin for everything that you want to do.

So, if I don't use Adsense (thinking about dropping it anyways), can I still use WPRobot?

The best thing I would recommended you to do is DO NOT AUTO-BLOG. I would advice you to do it manually and I hope you know the reason why I am telling you this.

WP Mage, but too bad it is closed for now. Other than that, you can try WP Robot. However, in my opinion it is not good to depend on these plugins alone. You need to post unique content sometimes in your blog.

What would be the minimum I could manually post? I'd be happy to post a few a week

Blogsense is the most dynamic autoblogging system and about the same price as WP-Robot, less if you just use it on one site. The more you can customize your set up the better and WP Robot does not allow for nearly enough customization for you to get organic traffic without a lot of external link building.

Rather than going for pure auto blogging sites a.k.a WP Robot kind, which nowadays are certainly bordering on the risky , the best way is to use a digi results plugin which pulls yahoo answers and creates content out of that ... I am not sure of the name right now (something like digiviral...), but that is a much safer option.... Also think about paul cliffords curator software as i think google has no issues with that and you might do ok, may be a bit more work than pure auto blog but you may benefit much more by going for the curated approach...

I'd seriously recommend you avoid anything related to 'auto blogging'.

It doesn't add value, probably will end up to damaging your position in SERPs or result in Adsense accounts or other accounts being banned.

I keep getting posts on my blog auto blogged by a few people.

If you're going to just avoid spinning full stop .. publishing auto blogged articles that look like a 4 year old wrote them isn't great for building authority .. and most of the time attribution isn't given to the original author/website (ok some auto bloggers do - fair play to them but most don't).

I think it's the lack of attribution that bothers me personally, not sure how others may feel about it.

The majority of sites that have auto blogged my content have no visibility in search right now. - maybe that's a good enough reason to avoid it.

If you must, I think sriram rajan's suggestion about Yahoo answers might work best.

I wouldn't touch anything to do with automation on my site, or any site, for that matter. Not that I've tried it, but why would you expect it to work? Google isn't dumb, or they're trying real hard not to be.

I wouldn't try autoblogging, especially if one of your primary sources of income would be adsense. Used to be popular in the past, but Google is cracking down. Trust me, they are.
