Do any results come from submitting your RSS Feed to directories? Is this a worthwhile activity?

I have had very fast and effective results with this. I recommend looking up Mike Cowles here on the forum. He has a phenomenal software for automating this for you. Powerful stuff.

Submitting RSS feeds to directories definitely work for me. I also help me to get back links from other sites.

Definitely get traffic from submitting RSS feeds to the aggregators, this varies upon niche. WinsonYeung you can view your Awstats within your cpanel to see where your traffic is coming from (or set up Google Analytics or similar). On a couple of my sites the "/feed" url is one of the top entry points.

Great, thanks. RSS Feed submission is probably the only well-known traffic method I haven't ever tried. I'll definitely add it to the mix and see how it works out.

Yes submitting to rss directories does help in many ways... 1. You can get more subscribers to your feeds 2. Additional exposure and traffic 3. Backlinks Benefits Some you may see instant results while others you may not.. In the long run though it is very much worth the time. You also only need to submit your RSS Feed one time to a directory and it will stay there.. Here is a great list to help .. I only use a few and get great traffic to my sites: feedagg dot com feedage dot com goldenfeed dot com I then create a feed using feedburner dot com, then submit THAT feed to the above submission sites. |

Whoa! Now that's a sneaky tip! Double your feed links with feedburner. I like! Oh, and you might also want to consider using one of those free online RSS Mixers which mixes a few of your feeds together automatically and submit THAT feed to the directories as well. Three for the price of one. I like how you think Droopy! Feedage .com is a very solid directory, it gives you some killer backlinks. I've been testing the RSS thing out on a few of my niches, and I can vouch that for the niches I've used it on, it's a great way to get traffic, my feed is the main entry point to my site. especially while you wait for your terms and backlinks to rank with G. In the end, you can rarely go wrong with putting your website out there in more places. |
