It's now 6:30 am here. I've been up all night submitting my article to different sites, to drive traffic.

Who thinks I'll make my first sell by the end of this week?

      I'm predicting no lol. Based on her other thread asking for article submission sites, it seems that the OP is just putting the article on whatever directory/submission site that it will stick on, hoping that directory traffic is going to convert.

      Maybe she'll get lucky, but I think we know better.

      We don't expect you to know much.

      We do expect you to take the hint that maybe the way you are doing it won't work the way you expect it to do so, and therefore, you might want to take some time to figure out how to do it the right way.

        Well, I'm an affiliate marketer (If I even own that title) and I don't know of any more ways too drive traffic.

    Well, what you're looking to do right now could pretty much be labeled article directory marketing, which is very much dead. The backlinks you are getting from those submissions are less than worthless. Any traffic you are lucky enough to get from there is almost always untargeted and unlikely to clikc through to your page and then your offer. Too much to distract them and take them away.

    If your article is actually good you'll want to try article syndication marketing instead. A pretty good thread on it:

      It's barely 400 words. And I was just posting too get a little more traffic. Which I'm still waiting to see what EZine says about my article.

        That's probably not syndication worthy. It doesn't qualify as an article, really. More of a blog post. As mentioned in my last post. Articled directories themselves aren't going to bring you traffic, so don't hold your breath for a sale this week. I wouldn't hold your breath on EZA either unfortunately.

        If your article is not that good, then you should not be expecting too much as a result of it.

        When you put your best foot forward, creating content that other people will want to read, then article marketing brings with it real potential to deliver a huge bang for your investment.

        When you put a half-assed step forward, chances are good that your article marketing campaign will fall flat on its face.

    You have started a lot of threads this morning about article marketing, and I gave you a real good answer in another of those threads.

    If you follow Alexa Smith around, she always peppers her comments about article marketing with links out the wazoo. I am not that patient.

    Look it up yes, and the easiest way to look it up is to use the search function here in the forum. There are literally thousands of threads in this forum about article marketing, and some of us have written lengthy ebooks on the topic.

    The information you need about article marketing is in ample supply if you only take the time to find it.
