I have set up a blog for getting followers. I am compiling a list of anyone and every ones Profile links. It will help get followers. Take a Look. It is also Do Follow.

That's interesting, but I don't think it is a good way to get followers...at least targeted ones. I've found that getting followers in this manner isn't very effective as a majority of the people only want to self-promote.

yeah, i think twitter is an interesting beast at present ... it's a lot of people wanting to promote, who end up promoting to a lot of other people who, well, want to promote

Good point. I try to follow and get followed by people who are genuinely interested in my niche.

I've found that it pays to go ahead and not be afraid to sometimes follow those on twitter who don't obviously have an interest in my particular niche. But that's just my experience.
