Consider This If You Have A Budget To Play With!

Hi guys hope everyonr is well today!

Just wanted to share some interesting information regarding time spent learning all the necessary skills required when running an online business and how to short cut that learning curve or more to the point "How To Bypass It Completely"!

Now this is not intended to divert you guys from putting in some hard work but will certainly hopefully open your eyes to what is possible.

If you have been working on your online business now for many months and years and have invested both a lot of time and money into it, then you may have been able to short cut your way to a "Ready Made Business" if you like by buying a pre-made, ready to sell business at Flippa.com.

I know many people have already probably heard of this and have used it to their advantage, but I think it is worth considering as most people will spend thousands of dollars on training, software, graphics etc etc.

Some of these sites are going for a few hundred dollars and some of them even come with a list of subscribers! (AWESOME)!!!

It certainly allows beginners to fast track their way to building an online business that has already had all the hard work done to it and all is required is a little tweaking here and there.

Anyways just thought I would share this and hope it opens up the possibilities to some fellow warriors.

Have a great day!

It is a good place to start buying a business that already works and makes money but you still need to know the ins and outs of running a business online so you can improve and grow it else you will probably end up selling it like the person you bought it off!

Yes, buying/ selling website is a good & quite easy business to enter if you have an initial investment.

You could buy adsense website that have already generated revenue. Tweak the adsense placement or the site's design to get more revenue with the same amount of traffic and sell it again for higher price. You bypass all the hard work to create the site, to enhance the SEO, etc...

Website flipping is really a good IM business for beginners that have good initial money and want to make fast cash.

This is a good way indeed, the only drawback is that sites that make money usually cost at least 10x month income. This is still a good investment comparing to offline business, but don't expect to buy a high earner for $300.

Kinda takes all the fun and sense of achievement out of it. A bit like someone else filling in the last 8 answers on your crossword.

I can't help but disagree with this. Being able to take something that is already established but improve it with your own power can be a great thing!

And the profits don't hurt either

The profits maybe don't hurt, yes. Already established, yes. But an awful lot of people out there would still prefer to learn by their mistakes and do it themselves. Cheaper and more satisfaction. I'm not saying do the lot, as much would or could still be outsourced. But the idea in principle doesn't appeal to me personally.

          Maybe start a poll.

I would not recommend people jump into flippa without some knowledge of the industry first.

Flippa is full of gamed sites with misleading stats. If you don't know how to perform diligence of a website (checking for dodgy redirect histories, misleading traffic stats, keyword competition, scraped content etc) I would keep clear.

If you still want to try, best I could recommend is to filter out the websites less then 1 year old and be prepared to pay a sum, as the good ones fetch a good price.

Flippa is definitely the market leader when it comes to buying/selling sites, but you should definitely be careful before you start snatching up properties willy-nilly. I would suggest reading up on how to find the best buys on Flippa, how to avoid the scammers, etc. There are definitely scammers that sell there so watch out.

    • Depends on what you want to do, I suppose. I prefer developing my own sites rather than trying to figure out if someone on Flippa is scamming me.

I agree with those who say the learning curve is invaluable.

There's a third option which TryBPO was too modest to mention: They offer niche sites for sale. I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat and avoid Flippa.

No question Flippa can be a valuable resource for people who have money to invest, and are looking to scale their income quickly online. However, as other posters have stated, there are people on flippa who will scam you (fake earnings, fake traffic stats, etc.).

It isn't hard to manipulate Analytics data or earnings screenshots for that matter, so make sure that you do your homework before investing any big money on Flippa.
