Sometimes it boggles my mind what people write. I have a business that has a $1 front end product. I was promoting it in an email to my list and made mention of the $1 price tag. So, someone on the list from Australia (I'm in the U.S.) wrote me back and told me it was "kind of dopey to send $1 from Australia, thanks anyway" Makes me wonder how many people using the web really have ZERO experience and get stuck or confused by even the most commonplace thing. |

I have a $2.95 sample offer online and I am shocked how many emails like that I get. Or people who say they can't afford $2.95 and I should send them a sample anyway. Can't afford $2.95? How do you pay for internet service? |

What is a "dopey"? It loks kinda funny to me - in any case people do not take this kind of stuff and the buying habits have really gone down because of the economy. It is very hard to sell someone something these days

The thing is, there will always be people like this. Just ignore them and move on. Don't let a few people ruffle your feathers. |

I've had stuff similar to that, too. If they email you by replying to one of your autoresponder messages it's real easy to click the unsubscribe link for them |

Yes. I do ignore it most of the time. Sometimes, it just does boggle my mind though. I wonder how many people think just like these people, but never bother to comment |

You have to realize too that at any given time your offer may be received by a drunk or crazy person who will have some warped response... kinda fun if you realize that drunk and crazy responses are usually passing as the person passes out of otherwise forgets about emailing you back. |

The world is has of negative people on it and the internet reflects that. i think it's very important to build up a resistance to it and keep going. We need that in this business. |

There are always funny people like this. I have some folks who say the most nasty things. Have you ever had people complain that you spam them the minute after they opt into your list to download a free report? My goodness! But it is part and parcel of life. |

I have a babynames ebook at one of my sites. And I offer a "Full refund... blah blah". The usual stuff. So this visitor messages me and tells me he's going to buy the ebook, read through it, and if he doesn't find a name that he likes, he wants a refund :-) This guy was practically hinting that he was going to get a refund after consuming the entire ebook anyway. And then I questioned his intention, and asked him if he does the same at the movies and restaurants he visits - ask for a refund if the movie or food is not to his "liking". Long story short, got called all sorts of names. Get a few folks like this every month. Their whole purpose in life is to troll the web and frustrate others. Download a digital product, and within 15 minutes, ask for refund. And those idiots at ClickBank happily even process the refund even before I can get the notification email about the sale! Hit the delete button, and move on :-) - Ravi |

Hi Ravi, sounds familiar. I had this buyer who purchased my report, complained that he could not download it and without sending me an email for support instantly asked for a refund from Clickbank. All within the hour. We find all these folks all the time so like what you said, I agree. Let's move on. Quote:
