Newbie - Solo Ad directory or CPC or Banners

Trying to promote a new system and posting ads on CB has brought me bogus leads. I know I need to give it time as I've only done it for a couple days but I really want to make this work for me so I want to look at new ways to advertise. I've ran into so much ways and don't want to overload my brain so I'm trying to find a simple way for a newbie. So far, I've only done posting ads on free sites. I'm looking into Solo Ad as I've heard it brings in lots of traffic and instead of driving them to optin page, I'll drive them directly to landing page. I've also ran into CPC or banners and it doesn't cost too much (i think less than $50)(or buy 500 clicks for $25?) Any input is appreciated and if you know of one that you've used and created traffic and converted to sales, please let me know.

    These are probably your best option as a newbie trying to direct traffic.. Make sure your site is professional before you go near adwords or you will be banned for life..

      Most solo ad sellers won't send to an offer like that, although a few will. They usually state that on their sales page, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.
      I think you'll build a list faster by giving away a high quality product rather than trying to sell something right out of the gate. The majority of people, 99.9%, won't buy on the first visit, but depending on your free offer, you could gather 50% or mail of the visitor's email addresses.
      That's where the real money is. Solo ads work great, I use them a lot, but not to drive traffic to an offer, just a squeeze page and then a OTO...

    Thanks Guys! The squeeze page and landing page both look good. It's an automatic system that was created already by me joining. I meant that I post ads on Craigslist (CL) not CB.. sorry typo. I will continue to post ads to free sites but looking other ways to get traffic. I'm willing to spend a little money to start if it will get me traffic and real ppl w/ interest on this system. I got bogus leads so far posting on CL. They jsut email me back stuff and try to sell me stuff.

    You can use solo ads to drive big traffic but you of course do need a free offer to give away

    What ever product or system your trying to promote you can do so on your OTO, your upsell or your back end

    It really depends on the price of your product

    If it`s below $20 you can promote it as the OTO

    but if it`s more expensive then it will probably be best to promote it as an upsell or on the back end

    Solo ads are great for paid fast traffic but if you want to use free traffic I would stick to videos, blogging, forums, articles to name a few

    All of the above.

    The fact is that you need to test everything. You need to test your landing pages, sales funnel, and traffic sources.

    In the end, only you will know the right answer for your business.
