Default OptimizePress or Premise for landing pages?

As an up-and-coming internet marketer, I'm researching the best programs for building excellent landing pages for clients.

It seems to have come down to two: OptimizePress and Premise by CopyBlogger.

Can anyone shed light on their experiences with either and note any benefits, drawbacks, preferences, etc.?

The knowledge of the Warrior community will likely tilt the favor in one direction or the other.

I've never used "Premise," but OptimizePress works like a charm. It's so easy to use, and can create some beautifully effective landing pages in a VERY short amount of time.

I refunded on Premise because there was no way to have a new member be automatically added to your autoresponder. This may have been addressed by now however. Other than that I liked it. It's really quite different than OP.

My pick would be OptimizePress. It's graphically beautiful and very easy to use.

Use Optimizepress.

Almost 90% of Internet Marketers/ Warriors that I know use Optimizepress for their landing pages. So, who can it go wrong?

Even though I own both platforms I still can't do a real comparation since I haven't implemented Premise on a live site yet.

Both platforms were designed for landing pages and membership sites.

OP can easily do three step launches.

Premise has internal drip feeding capabilities and download protection.

Optimize Press has better (and more) graphics and covers a few languages.

Premise has a smart assistant to help you write sales copy, landing pages, etc.

There's a lot more to Premise but like I said, I haven't really tested it throughly yet.

About the e-mail integration, they already work with many providers including Aweber, Constant Contact and MailChimp.

Hope this helps in some way.

I like OP it has a lot of scope to change things and makes a good clean looking site, the only down side to it is there are a lot of people using it and you can spot an OP site a mile away....

But...

I still like using it and just get a little creative with the graphics... like nasuryono said the graphics pack that comes with it is great and it is literally a click system to create a great site.

Definately worth thinking about

Well. That sucks if you buy OP now...should be a window where your automatically upgraded.

Anyone know how Optin-lite stacks up to OP? I was thinking about using it instead since it's responsive/mobile friendly/fb iframe friendly. But I still don't think it looks quite as nice graphically

I am using OptimizePress on 2 of my site from last one year and they are very easy to manage. There are many option that you can design page according to your need.

If you are a studiopress lover and don't want much feature but fast loading theme then go for GetPremise.

Hey OP,

We'd looked at both and had the same question a while back. Here's what ultimately made the decision for us:

OptimizePress is a WP theme while Premise is a plugin. With Premise, you can use the functionality of the landing pages on ANY site or WordPress Theme. If you're adding this to your current site and don't want to get away from the theme you're using, I would recommend Premise. If you're starting from scratch and the entire site will be based on landing pages, funnels, etc...you're probably better with OptimizePress.

Hope that helps...

HI all I am looking at buying one of the two. I actually want a page that looks something like this scribecontent.com is it possible to do this with OptimizePress (because that is Premise)? I dont like the typical Red and White sales/squeeze pages the link I posted is a bit of fresh air in my eyes.

I will have to agree with most of the comments here. OptimizePress is the way to go. It's actually not as difficult to use as I once thought before I bought it. They have a new version set to drop soon, so, you may or may not want to hold off on purchasing.

Two that come to mind are Squeeze Domination and Lead Rocket which was a recent WSO. I don't know why but the squeeze and pages with an image in the background seem to draw people in.

I'm not sure about squeeze domination...but lead rocket was just that...only a squeeze page.

I do have lead gorilla...for that exact purpose. But no full blown sales pages.

I can also say, you can get mark dulisse salespress pro, But really, it's just slightly newer OP. If you don't have op, I'd get it. But not a big enough change to leave op.

Any other ideas for sales pages guys?

If 90% of internet marketeers use and recommend Optimize Press for landing or squeeze pages, and 90-95% of Internet marketeers are not profitable.

what does that say for OP recommendations?

I have OP, and its pretty much cookie cutter templates for squeeze and landing pages. Sort of like tract homes.

It doesn't matter. Both products are excellent and will do equally well.

The more important factor is how you market the landing pages you create and how well your clients market the pages you create.

Thanks,

I've recently purchased Optimizepress via the warrior forum (discounted less $28 + bonuses) but have yet to try it out. I'm not connected with the seller but I can confirm that my purchase went smoothly.

OptimizePress Discount $69 [$28 OFF]Immediate Pay To Your PayPal Account! Read Testimonials Inside!

One thing I did note after purchasing, was that you have to notify Optimizepress with the information of your sites you are using it on in order for it to be activated. That feels more like a lease than an ownership.

With that said I was impressed with the information in the members area and the product does look effective. We shall see? I look forward to creating some awsome squeeze pages.

From memory there are some posted comments about Optimizepress V2 in the linked thread, however for me the current offer appealed for what I wanted.

Really didn't want to be hanging around waiting for V2.
