Help ! Creating the perfect Networking event ?

Hi Gang,

We are looking into running a monthly offline business event to complement what we do online.

I am interested to know what are you favourite parts of business/networking events. If you could create your own event then what what you include?

Speed-Networking
Normal Networking
Guest Speakers
Workshops on topics such as SEO/PR/Accounts/Sales etc
Group brainstorming - small groups brainstorming on each others business
Business games
. . . . . or something else completely different?

Lets say the event can last for a maximum of 2-3 hrs.

I'm also looking for fresh and funky ideas that we could implement to make our events unique, as well as your favourite bits.

All answers & ideas welcome
