Honest Advice off Money Makers Please

Hello Warriors

This is my first post on here and i would like to ask some of you guys that currently make money online for some advice, and hopefully you will be able to help out.

Ok, a few years back i bought a system to make money online and it all went terribly wrong and ended up costing me a fortune, which put me off any online business ventures for a while, if im honest i fell for the old "be a millionaire this time next week" line.

Recently i bought Google Sniper 2.0 as the reviews showed it not to be one of those "millionaire next week" systems but rather a slow and steady way of making money online. (i havent yet completed all the videos on this course)

What i would like to know off you guys is are these small review type, sniper websites worth doing and how do they compare to some of the ready made websites that i see advertised on here (The ones that say PANDA sites, ready made SEO friendly make $100-1000 pm etc) also has any one had any success with these ready made sites

i dont want to fall into the trap of believeing i can be a millionaire almost over night and maxing out credit cards again but i am looking to slowly start adding $100-200 per month to my bank balance over the next month or so.

Its important for me to say i am no expert at this type of stuff also i only have a few hours spare per week which is why im looking at advice off you guys before i make any mistakes again

Thanks Warriors

Sniper sites are not as effective as they once were, simply because Google Penguin shot holes in the Exact Match Domain principle.

Also, be very wary of anyone pitching Penguin-Proof offers, because a lot of folks are using that as a sales gimmick without even testing their systems against Penguin.

thanks for this advice guys ill keep learning all i can, and i wasnt meaning to sound negative i just dont want to end up being worse off that i was before i started (like i was last time i tried something)

i realise as yet i dont have the skills required to help people out online as was suggested above so to begin with ill be looking to start with affilliate products, so finding the best way to promote those products is my main focus at the moment, as i say im looking to do this slowly and steadily

      cheers guys

Take a step back and forget all the marketing nonsense for a while. Most of the concepts that focus on numbers and scaling up to make money don't work very well for most people. business is just not that simple.

Numbers never behave the way you want them to as long as you keep treating them like numbers and not the people they really are. Any money that you make from your business ultimately comes from other people.

Instead, start thinking about your new business venture from the standpoint of what you can do to add value to people lives rather than how you can use this internet thingy to make yourself some money.

The only reason any business exists is to create value for a set of customers. The fact that the owner makes money is just a by product, not the core reason the business exists. Basically, there are very few successful businesses that make money for the owner and don't solve the problems of at least one group of people.

You sound just like me two years ago online! Although I've got over 16 years business experience offline, I fell for the make money online in 30 days rubbish over and over!

There is only one way to make money online and that is to learn! learn everything you can, and the beauty of the internet is you can implement as you learn. For any newbie reading this, here is a few tips for your learning process on the warrior forum:-
    1. Find out who are reputable warriors and do a search of their past threads they started
    2. Ask questions - no matter how stupid, most warriors are very patient and very giving with their advice
    3. Don't go buying a ton of wso's until you have worked out what method of IM you are wanting to pursue! then a buy some in that area and take little nuggets from each one
    4. Take action on what you learn
Steer clear of the done for you sites and services, the only way to learn is to do things for yourself, make mistakes and learn from them. You gets tons of newbies on this thread everyday asking how to make money online, and you never see a straight answer from experienced warriors.......the reason is because anyone on this forum who is making money knows how important the first 3-6 months are. By this i mean everyone goes through this period! many if not most quit, but the successful ones learn, implement, fail, learn more, implement, then succeed! It's called building a foundation to your business.

If anyone was to give you a short cut, it would mean you would miss learning curves and warriors know that will do you no good on the long run! which is why its best to stay away from 'systems'.

Enjoy the forum, ask tons of questions, network, come back to this forum and report your progress. As long as you stick through the bad you will do well and you sound like you have the right attitude.

    Good luck

The whole sniper site conception is a little bit outdated, but small review sites still work well with proper keyword research and SEO.

I've been in IM for twelve years and the thing that stands out to me is that all you have to do to succeed is stick to the basics. Don't chase this fad and that.

        Find a niche
        Find a need
        Develop a solution
        Build your list
        Offer your solution
        Repeat as necessary

If you stick with this plan CONSISTENTLY, you'll be successful in IM.

I totally agree with JohnSTP, however I have slightly different view
    Find a niche
    Find a need
Develop a GOOD solution BECOME THE BEST SOLUTION don't move to the next step if you haven't got it to a point where is a good solution
Build your list I DONT BUILD LISTS, I JUST DO SEO
Offer your solution I OFFER MY SOLUTION ON POPULAR WEBSITES LIKE EBAY
Repeat as necessary THIS IS CRUCIAL, IT IS NECESSARY TO REPEAT AND REPEAT AND REPEAT BIZ... LOL YOU NEED TO REPEAT IT UNTIL YOU RANK THE BEST ON YOUR SELECTED KEYWORDS
Sorry for the caps, there are many places that help you find the right keywords, I use google adwords to find them however seobook also has a really good tool.
Be friendly and generous, your customers will appreciate it and you will get word of mouth sales.
    GOOD LUCK!!!

It's funny. I haven't used eBay in some time, but it was where I made my first e-book sale over a decade ago. I may have to check it out again.

I agree will all of this, except the SEO instead of build a list part. Building a list allows you to build value. It allows you to develop repeat customers. It allows you to take your customers through an ascension strategy. And, trust me, over time, it will be the key to six and seven-figure businesses that require minimal time and financial investments to maintain.

Louie - what a great post - couldn't agree more. Its such a massively steep learning curve at the start and you need the time to take on board all the new information - there is no get quick rich scheme - I'm a newbie myself and the past three weeks have been a rollercoaster of a time but I've had a ball! I would add two things:

    1) Content is king post Penguin - if you can't add value then you may as well stop now
    2) Don't get hung up on backlinks - I got to page one on Google within 10 days without them (and without using black hat techniques).

The last point, as Louie says is perserverence - make mistakes and then get back on the horse.
