How To Track Traffic Coming From YouTube To A Empty Domain

Hi,

I would like to hear any advice on how I can track the traffic that comes from YouTube Video Marketing that has Description with a Site URL (let's say e.g. http://www.abc.com) that redirect them to my Clickbank affiliate link (e.g. Sell Products - ClickBank) via Cpanel's Redirect feature.

Since abc.com is an empty domain which redirect visitors to Clickbank Product Sale Page, I can't use WP Plugins like Pretty link or StatCounter to find out more about how many visitors and where they are from.

Thus how can I track the Traffic?

    Eltara, you can use bit.ly which has a nice tracking feature. Since bit.ly does not allow you to shorten clickbank url, you can apply this trick:

    1. Go to bit.ly
    2. Put abc.com and get your short bit.ly url
    3. Inset the short bit.ly url in YouTube description

    This is how the redirect process will work for you; the bit.ly url will redirect visitor to abc.com and abc.com will redirect visitor to clickbank url.

    Why do you not just use clickbanks stats?
    If you are promoting the same product elsewhere just use CBs tracking id at end of this one.

    For tracking traffic you can simply get your url shortened on sedo.com and then after getting the youtube video url just go for its SEO and you will get traffic.
