It is heartbreaking news for those who know and loved Barry. I did not have the privilege of knowing Barry personally. I have been a long time subscriber of his and implemented his great knowledge in my online business. My heart felt condolences go out to his family and friends in their time of sorrow. Barry will be greatly remembered and missed. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help his wife in her time of need. We must rally when a Warrior is down. Shelby Carr |

What a shock! Barry is known as one of the most helpful people on the forum. It is going to be a great loss to everyone including the forum and myself personally. My first few weeks as a warrior Barry helped me find my ways and I thank him for that. My heart goes out the his friends and family...RIP Barry. -Christian |

It was with great sadness when I heard about Barry passing away. I was only a subscriber of his, and learnt a great deal from him. My thoughts go out to Martha and his family at this sad time. |

Hi Jim: I was so sorry to hear about Barry's passing yesterday. I feel so bad for Martha. She's certainly going to need help in the coming days, weeks, and months! It's great that you'll be there for her. Barry was a great guy and a real friend to so many. I hope that all those he has touched over the years remember to repay his service by being there for you and Martha as you try to get through this tough time. Please count me in if there's anything that I can do to help! I know that a number of my students are using your's and Barry's hosting and I'm telling them to just sit tight while you get through this tough time. If I can do anything, please just give me a call. I'll PM my phone number to you just in case you need it. Gina Gaudio-Graves |

Barry - what a loss!! I was so shocked when I heard about this... I had spoken to him only a couple of days ago, and now to never hear that cheerful, funny voice again... WOW, how tragic. Sincerest condolences to his wife... and if she needs any additional assistance, don't hesitate to ask. Lisa Preston |

Hello All, This is Martha. Thank you all for your support, prayers, and you willingness to help me in this terrible time. I know some of you by name, some I know more than that. I am very moved by the donations, thank you all so much! As you know Barry was a kind, honest and always willing to help anyone who needed it and it shows by all these post that he wasn't like that just with me but with everyone. Our poor Beagles just aren't sure what to do, they know something is different because "Daddy" isn't here and they go to the bedroom to look for him. I wish I could explain why Daddy isn't here but I don't understand it either and I want him here too. We only got to spend 9 years together, in fact Nov was our anniversary. I never reqretted me moving from the state of California to Missouri to marry a man I had met online in a chat room. It was risky for both of us but we knew it was right. thanks again, Martha Richardson |

I am shocked and saddened at the news. I have known Barry about 5 years now. He was always a kind, generous, helpful person. We were working on one project together and planning a couple more this week to help me get back on my feet. He made time for everyone. He was also a very courteous man. When I lost my job, he didn't get on my case about not being able to pay for my hosting bill, he instead said pay it when I can. He knew the value of people was greater than the value of money. While I wish we had the chance to continue working together, I would rather just have the chance to hear his voice on Skype. =/ Barry, I know I said Thanks before...but it still was not enough. Thank you for being my friend. Sincerely, Gerry Humphrey |

I'm in absolute shock, Barry was one of the first people to help with advice etc when I very first set up my membership sites back in 2005, in fact I've been hosting with him ever since that time. He was an invaluable source of inspiration We've lost another wonderful Warrior Kim |

Hi Jim Please pass on my sincere condolences to Martha. This is very sad and shocking news indeed. I have personally worked with Barry in the past and we often chatted for hours on Skype about online business in general. He was a top bloke and will be sadly missed in the IM community. I will always remember him as being someone you could count on - dependable, very capable and a good all round guy. If I can help in any way - just let me know. Best regards, Aaron Leighton |

Awww, This was quite sad to hear this morning. I'm so sorry to hear of this loss. Barry and I knew each other enough for me to be quite shocked, and it's so weird to think he's not just a Skype away. I don't even know what to say, other than I'll be doing some linking today. I also have a nice idea that might help pull some money in for Martha. As others have said here, please let me know if there is anything I can do - I'd be more than happy to help out anywhere needed. In Loving Memory: Barry Richardson Tribute Thanks! Michelle |

I was only speaking with Barry a week ago, and I am thoroughly shocked by his passing away. I found Barry to be a true gentleman, with a fantastic sense of humor, and I certainly tried to take a leaf from out of his book. My deepest sympathies goes to Barry's family and wife Martha at this time. My wife and I will be praying for you. Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the guidance Barry. Rest In Peace Barry, you will be truly missed. Brendan |

I have been in shock ever since I got Martha's email about 4 hours ago. I just talked to Barry on the phone two weeks ago. It seems like every time I would call him or Instant Message with him, he would always offer to help me on projects. A few years ago, when I had a falling out with someone who was hosting my websites, I had been instant messaging with Barry talking to him about it, and he IMMEDIATELY offered to move my websites to his servers. He opened up a hosting account for me and helped me move all of the accounts over to it during a time when I did not know how to do such things. At the time, I asked him how much it was per month, and he said not to worry about it at the moment. I was relieved, because I was going through a divorce at the time and really couldn't afford much. He basically rescued my IM business and probably didn't even know it. I owe a LOT to Barry for what he has done for me. Now that I am remarried, I am still hosting with Live Voltage and will continue to do so. Carrie and I send our deepest condolances to you, Martha. May God Bless You. You are in our prayers. Hello again I have spent the afternoon answering emails and private messages from fellow warriors and from those on Barry's lists. A little while ago Martha sent out the news to all of Barry's Aweber list members about what happened. I had her put my email address in the email so people with concerns about their products and accounts could contact me instead of her. I want to again say thank you for all the offers of help and for all the denotations that have been made so far. It has been a bit overwhelming answering all the emails and if I missed someone I do apologize it was not on purpose. At this point in time the best thing for everyone to do is keep Martha and the family in your thoughts and prayers. If you can get the word out to others that would be a good thing to do and pass on the link to the donation page if you would. Barry Richardson Tribute I do know that Barry had lost his insurance and had not had a chance to get another policy. Barry helped a lot of people while he was alive and now it is our turn to help his family even if it just a small prayer for them. Anyone wanting to put together a sale for this cause is welcome to do so and it would take a bit of the stress off of me so I can better help Martha. It is just now really sinking in that this beloved warrior is gone and I want each of you to know I am grateful for all your concern. I thank you and on behalf of Martha we say thank you. Barry"s PayPal address to use for any sales is ( sales@easytoolbox.com ) Jim |

I didn't ever personally meet Barry. However, he was an inspiration to me. He lived just down the highway about 2 hours and we spoke about the Mizzou Tigers a time or two. I followed his lead on several product recommendations and was never steered wrong. The IM community has lost a valuable asset. My sympathy goes to Martha and his family Bob Kimball |

My deep condolences to Barry's family and friends. Barry unselfishly helped me with solid advice many times over the past 4 years in this forum and in the first one I joined. Even calling me at home a few years ago to offer advice (to someone who was just a forum acquaintance) on my first membership site. He truly enjoyed helping others and will be greatly missed. Sincerely, Tom |

From our family to yours a blessing and prayers. We have recently done business with Barry and he was always a man of his word. There are no words that one can say to make His wife feel better, but all of the words posted here will help I am sure. It puts a lot into view for many of us, 1. take the time to tell your love ones that they are special and how much you care about them. 2. put your money matters and information down on paper and ensure they know where to find it. 3. thank god for a great community/family like Warriorfourm to pull together around one of our own. It does the heart good to see that a positive man, moved so many positive people, Karma is an amazing thing RIP Barry God Bless to all Auggie |

| Hello all again, I have been reading this thread off and on all day, you all have really touch my heart with your posts. I knew Barry helped people but I didn't realize the extent of what he did but that was Barry, not in for praise but because he thought it was important to help when he could and I know he did enjoy helping people make a go at Internet marketing. Thank you so much for the donations, it is greatly appreciated. As for the cause of death still no news, I called and only got an answering machine and left a message, will try again tomorrow. I will post as soon as I know something. Sort of feel in limbo not knowing what happened and still feel a little lost but that is to be expected. And please do as suggested, make lists of all domains, websites/passwords, people you partner with, etc and keep it somewhere safe and where your loved ones know where it is at, I encouraged Barry to do that but he never got around to it. But the last 6 months I was handling our web hosting accounts and supports tickets so that Barry could concentrate on other matters so that is one thing I will not have to figure out or learn and what I do need to learn will come to me with Jim's help I am sure. Please customers of ours be patient with me, I'm a fast learner and hope to continue the type of service that you have become accustomed to with Barry. Thank you Jim for doing all that you have done so far. thanks again all, Martha Richardson |

Martha I'm sure that no one could ever realize the extent of what Barry did for other people. He went out of his way to help others on a daily basis. As I'm sure you know, he saved my life when Scott got sick and he has been there for us every day for the past 3 years. A couple of years ago I nicknamed him "Chief" because I told him he liked acting like the head honcho. He just laughed and told me that as long as I remembered that "chief" knew best, we would work just fine together. LOL And he was right, we became good friends. We didn't always agree, sometimes I think he disagreed with me just so we could argue about it. He would always say "Scott would agree with me," and I would say, "Martha should knock you upside the head." You have lost a wonderful husband, and we have lost a very dear friend. Barry loved you more than anything in the world and Scott and I always got a kick out of the stories he would tell about the two of you....and the beagles. Over the last few years Barry has been there for us more than our own family, and now we will do the same for you. You know we are only a phone call away. You are in our prayers Sharlene |

| Aritra, I hope I spelled your name right, if not I'm sorry. I understand how you feel. Bear and I love to watch Smoking Gun, Most Daring, Most Shocking and Dirty Jobs together, now those I get to watch alone. He loved when I made the Beagles howl in the house, he loved watching them play together. He was so easy to get along with and the little things I did made him so happy. I miss his laugh, it was always so hearty. Even when we didn't talk but as long as we were in the same room was enough for him. When I went to bed before him because I love to read before sleeping he would say "I will miss you" All those little things that I took for granted because I thought we would be together till we grew old, I will miss the most. I keep telling myself, "no,no,no, this didn't happen. He wasn't suppose to leave me" but I know it did happen and now that he is gone I realized that I loved him more than I thought I did. I know everything he did, he did for us even if that meant sometimes he couldn't watch a movie with me or pay attention to it because he was working on our future. This was his dream, working from home and he worked hard at it and was happy that I was willing and able to learn whatever I could to free up time for him to work on other things. I know I will probably never find another man that will love me as much or like he did. I have been though a lot in my life before meeting Bear and I finally thought, now I've done something right being with Bear, 9 years just wasn't enough. |

Hello all. I know how shocking this is for everyone and I am sure Barry would want all of you to keep up the good fight and carry on with your journey to success. In Martha's post above she thanked me for what I have done so far and that really isn't necessary as what little I have done has been out of love for both Barry and Martha. We have been having people contact me with their concerns and questions via my email so as to take some of the burden off Martha. I have received many offers of help and condolences and I want to say thanks to you all. I want everyone to rest assured that I will be doing all I can to help Martha get things straightened out with the business and I would ask also that you give us time to set things in order. I also want you to know that I am touched by the outpouring of love and caring you all have shown in this trying time. It is truly appreciated. I have been a member on this forum since 2006 and I am what you might call a lurker I read a lot of what goes on here but stay pretty quiet. I may have to change that and start being more of a help to others in whatever small way I can. I know of or have had dealings with a lot of you in the past and I want you to know I have always felt that this forum was a place to learn and grow and most of all a place where one could come and meet other fine marketers. Barry had a lot of irons in the fire so to speak and it will take a bit to learn what all he had planed and was doing. Not now but at a later date I will be asking you to contact me with any details of business you might have been planning or working on with Barry and if those plans can be fulfilled we will do our best to carry them out. I can't tell you enough how much I really appreciate all the posts here in this thread and it is clear to see that Barry had lot of things he was doing to help some of you. I think far to often we over look how much of an influence we can be to others and far to often we find ourselves thinking of number one first rather than our fellow man. Barry wasn't like that. If he could he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need often times being taken advantage of but I never once heard him complain about it. I believe that we all need to follow the example left by Barry and put it into effect in our lives. Not looking for the adulation of others and saying look what I have done but by quietly working behind the scenes thus making this world of ours a better place. Barry will be missed dearly and it is clear to see that he really cared about his fellow marketers. I for one am a living example of that as it was Barry that gave me my start in the IM world. For that I am truly grateful. Please feel free to contact me with your concerns if you need to. PM me here or use the address provided below. Thank you all Jim jfmiller@maine.rr.com |

A very sad day. I've never talked to him but I've been on a couple of his lists and always enjoyed what he had to say. You could tell he was one of those people that really cared. Just wanted to say best wishes to his family and you can rest easy knowing that he left such a positive influence on so many people. He'll be missed by many Solomon |

Barry was always very nice to me. I have a reseller account with him and he helped me with technical issues before I knew what cpanel was ![]() He was always very patient and genuine. It was around a month or so ago that I last exchanged emails with him, and as always, he was the consummate professional. He will be missed. Martha, I offer you my condolences. Jack |

I am really in shock! This remembering me how fragility is the human being life. Although I've never personally met Barry, just I was in contact with him some days ago and he answering my questions so fast. I am in a lot of his lists and bought products from him. Was I big surprise when I read the horrible news. My prayers are with Martha and his lovely family. R.I.P Barry, you will be missed! Ley |

My condolences as well... Although Barry and I only "spoke" by e-mail, I knew he was a quality guy. It's truly moving to see how people are coming together for a friend in need. That happens a lot here on the warrior forum and in online "rooms" all over the web. That's the blessing of the online community. As we remember Barry, please go to the tribute page and make a donation of any size... Barry Richardson Tribute Loss is traumatic - the fear of financial insecurity can be paralyzing. David |

Barry has worked with me over the last year on some JV's and this is truly sad and unsettiling news to hear that has obviously hit the IM industry pretty hard with a lot of people. My thoughts and prayers to you Barry and the loved ones that were left behind as you will be well missed by many people. Rest in peace my friend. Frank Bruno |

I've never known him or talked to him. But I've witnessed some good contribution from him to this forum, and the news is really very sad. My prayers goes to his family and friends. "You'll be missed, but never be forgotten" Very rightly said. |
