Best Way to sell website?

INTERNET MARKETING

I started conduit review review website on the forex market. I paid for a custom header, and I have over 35 reviews done by a writer. I have decided to abandon this niche, since it has turned out to be more time consuming than I expected. Any recommendations on pricing for the site, which would include the domain name, 35 forex reviews and a blog with articles on it. The site has been consistently going up on Alexa ranking, and it's now ranked at 435,570, and it has not even been three months that I started working on it.

The site has adsense on it, but is not making any money from it yet.

People will look at how much money it has made per month. Of course it does matter what content and traffic are coming your way but if it has made money on any consistent basis you could expect 12x monthly earnings or just set a reserve for the lowest price you are will to part with it for.

Without any earnings and not a lot of traffic you won't get much for it. You're better off putting in a little more effort to get both earnings and traffic up, then you will get a lot more for it.

  I've used several auction sites for a while now but the problem has always been the listing fees. I just found a new site called JustClickAuctions.com that lets me add listings for free so I'm going to give it a shot. The site looks pretty good so far. Regarding valuation, it all comes down to what the buyer is willing to pay. You may believe it's worth $X but at the end of the day, it all comes down to what you can convince the buyer it's worth. Also, I would like to add Flippa if it's not yet on your list. It has good listings for buying or selling websites.

Yes, Flippa is the place to sell the site, but as already said, for a turnkey site you will
not get good price. At least make some money from this site even Adsense income
proof will help you get good price at Flipping.

If you have 35 original articles on there, that's worth money itself.

If you don't want the site, list it on flippa and let people know that articles cost an average of $10 to write. There's $350 worth of original content included in your sale.

I have purchased sites on flippa just for their content! A $300 site with 50-100 original articles is a bargain!

Alexa does not mean anything IMO. I would hold on to it and get it ranking for some low hanging keywords. Once you start to make Ad Sense money you can turn around and get 20 x monthly revenue or more ... I speak from experience.

  Yes of course it always helps to sell a site if it is making money but do you want to put in the time to drive traffic and make money with it? After all if you do that you may want to just keep it.
  
  I recently sold several websites I just did not have time to work on by listing them in my signature at different forums and also using "creative" financing.
  These are tough economic times as you know.
  
  So I decided on a price for each site and then if someone used my link for hosting etc. I would give a discount.
  
  I also offered help and advise and gave references of other buyers who were happy with the site they purchased.
