Adsense ads auto-opening?

Recently my blog started to show a cruise vacation ad, and everytime someone visits my blog, the ad's landing page opens in a new window automatically. I know its the ad because I see it on my blog (its a google adsense skyscraper ad) and it's opening automatically like if someone clicked on it. My CTR has raised more than %15...The ad is flash-based and appears to have an auto-opener function in my opinion, as I do not have any pop-up codes on my blog, is this allowed on adsense? or is this advertiser running a big risk for doing this? or maybe its a new adsense feature?

Very interesting observation. If the ad is opening every time someone lands on the page then your CTR should be 100%.

You could always ask Google if this meets their TOS. I would hate to think you might end up with a Google account ban.

No they are not allowed to do that. It's a common way to deliver viruses and trojans.
Ban the ad and report it to Google

I do not have 100% CTR because the ad is targeted to a specific city but its currently opening itself, CPC is only $0.01 but multiply that by about 20,000 visitors I get from that city per day and it adds up...
